About me

Are you struggling with your mental or physical health or quite possibly both? Maybe you'd like to improve your performance in some way?

Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed, stressed, or suffer from low motivation or low energy?

You may feel lost and don't feel like yourself as you once did or would like to?

Maybe you feel tired and wired or suffer from brain fog and lack the mental clarity you'd like?

Perhaps you're someone who's been struggling from unexplained fatigue, or just feeling off and are concerned about some aspect of your health but keep 'kicking the can down the road', in the belief/hope that 'I'm fine, it's OK ' or hear/think – 'that's just normal – you're just getting a bit older – it's just how it is'. (I'm thinking typically of men here – I get it).

Perhaps you'd like to improve some aspect of your performance; it could be sports-focused or having the energy to do the things you'd like or performance in the boardroom or bedroom that's not what it once was.

Perhaps you've been offered medication and/or psychological support or are on medication for mental health issues or have been told there's nothing wrong, 'everything has come back normal' and yet that's not how it feels to you.

If you are reading this, you're probably motivated to want to do something about it. Diet and lifestyle, life experiences, environment, infections etc. may be affecting how you feel, yet no one is exploring or reviewing these aspects with you

I offer a free 20–30-minute health strategy call. I invite you to book a call with me to discuss your issues and if we feel my services can benefit you.

Hi, my name is Nigel; I am a BANT registered Nutritional therapist and nutritionist®, Neurolinguistic practitioner and health coach, Certified Heartmath practitioner and Firstbeat Life Assessment provider. I have a particular passion for supporting people struggling with aspects of their mental health. How many times when seeking help does anyone ask about your diet and lifestyle, infections, or gut health, for example? My other areas of specific interest include supporting men's health and performance and building resilience to deal with future life challenges. My goal is to help people make better-informed decisions for their future to live healthier and happier lives.

Health issues are complex, and there's typically not just one thing that will sort everything out. It can take time working together to work out what's been going on and build and support the sustainable change you want. As a Nutritional Therapist/Functional Medicine practitioner, I don't only talk about food but I consider many aspects of diet/lifestyle to understand how you got to where you are and work together to support improvements. I may recommend functional testing, perhaps genetic testing, where appropriate to help assess underlying vulnerabilities. I take a food first approach, but often some period of additional supplementation may be recommended.

I recognise making habit changes is hard for probably 99.9% of people.  Knowing what to do is only a tiny part of it, often our past diet and lifestyle habits may have been contributory factors to how we feel now. That’s why I prefer to work with people for a minimum of 3-4 months, but 6-12 months is likely to be more beneficial.
