About me

Hello, I am Michaella Mazzoni

Trained in all areas of health, my special interests include; female health, chronic pain/fatigue, gut health (including food intolerance testing) and autoimmunity.

I am based in Edinburgh and Midlothian across several clinics and I hold video calls for those unable to travel to my clinic.

During your first consultation, I will spend time getting a full picture of your current and past health issues to try to identify factors which may be driving symptoms. We will then discuss your health goals and I will give you a full plan with dietary recommendations. We may also discuss potential testing and supplements at this point.

It is important to me that the suggestions I make are realistic and tailored to you, part of the consultation process will involve a discussion of what is practical and comfortable for you to confidently put in place without feeling overwhelmed.

All information discussed during your appointments is strictly confidential.

What happens next?

I offer a FREE 15-minute phone consultation before your first appointment. You can call or text me on 07786 841 333 or if you'd prefer, you can click here to send me an email.

Phone/video consultations

I see many patients who are unable to travel to Edinburgh due to distance or illness via video and phone. They are a great way to support your health whilst in the comfort of your own home. The format of a video consultation is the same as a clinic/face to face appointment.

About Me

Years ago, I developed a chronic pain and fatigue condition, during this time of my life, I felt totally helpless and frustrated with my health. I decided to see if nutritional changes could help manage my condition.

Fast forward several years and I am grateful every day that my good health allows me to do the things I love. All that I do in my clinical practice is to try to help others feel that same empowerment and control over their health and well being, whatever their current condition or state of health.

Alongside my clinical practice, I write recipes for magazines and brands as well as corporate talks.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained for three years with the College of Naturopathic Medicine across London and Edinburgh and graduated with distinction.

I am a registered member of BANT which is the leading professional body of Nutritional Therapists and requires members to follow a strict code of conduct, ethics and continuous professional training, I am also a registered member of the CNHC.

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a nutritionist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the nutritionist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
