About me
I provide personalised nutrition support focused on helping individuals improve their health through evidence-informed dietary and lifestyle changes. Consultations are available by video conference and telephone, making support accessible wherever you are based. My approach is practical, educational, and tailored to each person's circumstances, goals, and health history.
I work with clients who wish to improve their overall wellbeing, optimise their nutrition, support healthy ageing, improve dietary habits, and better understand the relationship between nutrition and health. Consultations are designed to provide clear recommendations that can be implemented in everyday life.
Alongside my work in nutrition, I have more than 20 years of professional experience in food quality. This background has given me a strong understanding of food composition, food processing, ingredient quality, and the factors that influence both nutritional value and consumer health.
A particular area of interest is extra virgin olive oil and Mediterranean nutrition. I believe that food quality is an important, but often overlooked, aspect of nutrition. My aim is not simply to advise clients on what to eat, but to help them understand how food quality, food choices, and lifestyle habits can work together to support health and wellbeing.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a member of the Federation of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners (FNTP) and have completed professional training in Nutritional Therapy.
My professional background includes more than 20 years of experience in food quality and food safety. I am a Registered Industrial Expert (Chemistry Specialisation) with the Italian College of Industrial Experts and previously served as a Court Technical Expert in Italy. Earlier in my career, I worked within a microbiology laboratory environment, gaining practical experience in food microbiology and quality systems.
In addition to my nutrition training, I have developed specialist expertise in extra virgin olive oil, including olive oil quality assessment, sensory (organoleptic) evaluation, production methods, authenticity, and nutritional composition. This area combines my interests in food quality and human nutrition, particularly in relation to Mediterranean dietary patterns.
