About me
Hi, I’m Marizaan du Toit, a registered Dietitian with a deep sense of purpose and passion to help & motivate others progress and achieve optimal health through sustainable and balanced nutrition.
I have a strong belief that food is not just fuel but a source of joy, healing and connection. Therefore, my mission is to help you create healthy, nutritious, mindful and sustainable eating habits that do not intend to restrict or control but rather for you to thrive and feel empowered.
In our sessions, I will approach every person uniquely & individually as we all have different requirements, needs and goals. Whether it is managing a diagnosed health condition, optimising your overall health & lifestyle, or simply helping you feel better day-to-day, I will be here to support you every step of the way.
I completed my Honours Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) Degree in Dietetics at the University of Stellenbosch located in Cape Town South Africa. A specific field of interest includes GUT health as more research indicates the crucial role it plays in your overall health and well-being, far beyond digestion. I also enjoy weight management, sustainable balanced eating and working with lifestyle diseases.
Let’s work together and allow me to help you make an impact on your health that leads to lasting and positive change.
