Registered Dietitian MNutr

About me

I am a registered dietitian with the HCPC and have over 8 years experience. I am passionate about supporting people to achieve their nutrition related health goals in a empathetic, evidence based and individualised manner.

During my work I have supported individuals with a variety of conditions to make long term changes to diet and lifestyle. I am very much of the believe in health at every size, and that there is not a one size fits all approach to diet and lifestyle.

During your first appointment I will do a thorough assessment (including relevant medical information, lifestyle and desired outcomes), provide education and information and together we will come up a plan that is centred around you, your circumstances, goals and abilities. However, I also believe being flexible and adaptable.

I am a very warm and friendly professional individual with a particular interest in weight management, diabetes and cardiovascular health. However I look forward to supporting you with any of the areas listed below.

Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 14 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
