Sarah - “I was about to undergo my third round of surgery and start IVF. Then I met Liz, a fully qualified nutritional therapist. She got to the root of my problems by showing me how certain types of food were actually making me ill and where I was deficient in key nutrients. Working with Liz gave me the best possible chance of IVF working. I completely changed my food lifestyle and the magic happened. Within 3 months I got pregnant just before the start of IVF. This nutritional programme from Liz gave me my baby boy and completely turned my life around.”
Katie - “As a woman in my late 30s, I visited Liz to help with my hopes of becoming pregnant. Liz quickly identified areas in which my diet could be improved to help become and sustain pregnancy. This included which foods to increase, those to reduce and options for appropriate supplements. I found Liz to be extremely knowledgeable and supportive, and she suggested a number of changes that I was able to implement within a very busy lifestyle. I enjoyed a very comfortable pregnancy, with little morning sickness and plenty of energy and we now have a healthy and happy 6 month old baby. Thank you from us all.”
Jane - “I came to see Liz because I had been having problems with fertility for a long time. I found her very reassuring and very helpful in planning the changes I could make to my diet and lifestyle. Liz was also very supportive both during the appointments and in between via email. I also got my first positive pregnancy test after trying for several years. If it wasn’t the nutritional changes I made then that’s one amazing coincidence!”

Information about health conditions (*)
Nutritional therapy can help enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting nutritional therapy or making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle.
"Liz’s insight was immensely helpful and set me on the track to better health and wellbeing. Her telephone and email support between face-to-face consultations is reassuring and effective. Thanks Liz for making me feel so much better."
"I thought that my diet was healthy and I was eating all the right things until I saw Elizabeth! I completed a detailed questionnaire prior to meeting Elizabeth and we discussed this at our first appointment. Elizabeth was very thorough, knowledgeable, friendly and gave practical advice confirming everything in writing. I have followed Elizabeth’s advice and I have seen a big improvement in my health. I have more energy and feel a lot better generally. I would not hesitate to recommend Elizabeth."
“I have had really bad digestive health issues for many years and I went to see Elizabeth as it was getting worse and worse. After assessing my diet and lifestyle, Elizabeth managed to identify the triggers and recommended an action plan to heal my gut. After following the action plan for the last few weeks I’ve seen a massive improvement and I also feel my health is much better overall. I would highly recommend anyone who’s suffering from similar problems to contact Elizabeth. "
“Elizabeth was a great help to me. Her approach to the issues I faced was clear and helpful, making me feel comfortable and confident throughout a process that saw a considerable amount of change in my eating habits and general well-being. I can’t recommend her highly enough.”
“I met with Elizabeth in 2010 for nutritional counselling, which comprised an initial appointment, in-depth consultation and follow up. Elizabeth gave me lots of helpful, friendly advice that was very easy to incorporate into real life. I made the changes she recommended and my symptoms have improved considerably (and as an added bonus, my excess weight is melting away). ”
“Thank you Elizabeth for your expert advice. I can honestly say I have never visited as thorough a Nutritional Therapist as you and your dedication really showed. After having my consultations I am left with a lot of information about my particular concerns and what I can do about them. Thanks again.”
"I have had skin issues since I was a teenager and more recently with my gastrointestinal health. Both were particularly bad when I was stressed. Elizabeth explained that certain things in my diet and lifestyle were triggers and she worked with me to exclude these things, whilst at the same time trying to rectify any nutrient deficiencies. Within a couple of weeks of implementing her recommendations I see a dramatic improvement in my health, and for the first time in a long time my skin is clear. As an added bonus, my weight has improved!"
Anne Smith, Leeds
"Elizabeth analysed my diet and gave me in depth suggestions of changes I could make. I was really pleased with the results, not just in improving my gastrointestinal health, but in giving me more energy and improving my general well-being. Elizabeth’s approach throughout has been friendly and helpful. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to make positive changes to their health."
Sara Penn Williams, Leeds
"Elizabeth has helped me with some severe female health concerns. I turned to Elizabeth desperate for something to make me feel better. Elizabeth looked at my food diary and symptoms, came up with a plan to quite radically change my diet but also with a strategy of how to deal with this diet day to day, and how to substitute food items which became off limits. She constantly stayed in touch to give me the moral support I needed and I can’t tell you after 4 months how much better I feel. I feel like she helped me to regain some control over my health and I’ve seen a dramatic improvement in my weight so I feel better about myself too. I can’t recommend Elizabeth enough."
Victoria Clark, Leeds
"I contacted Elizabeth to help me with my weight. Elizabeth showed me a new way of looking at food and its effect on the body. I was advised on which foods to avoid and those that would help me with my weight. Since my initial consultation my weight has improved, I feel more energetic and have a clear mind. Thank you!"
"I went to see Elizabeth in 2012 to try and formulate a plan to improve my diet and lifestyle. Elizabeth was clearly extremely knowledgeable in all areas of nutrition and she was able to re-assure me of the key factors to consider and the importance of creating a balanced approach. The action plan created was easy and simple to follow as it was based on my current diet but much more focused and targeted. The sessions with Elizabeth were enjoyable and her feedback and pro-active approach in following up outside of the sessions produced the desired results. I would highly recommend Elizabeth to anyone wanting to make positive changes to their diet or lifestyle."
"Well part of my motivation to see you was to work towards this week, I’m emailing from the Caribbean! I probably peaked late November as the build up to Christmas was pretty heavy going! However, as a result of seeing you I am a lot healthier in between naughty meals and have been more injury free than ever, doing a lot more running. The down side is that I’ve had to buy some smaller clothes!"
"Thank you for all you’ve done for me. When I came to see you, I had so many confusing symptoms. It was great that, with your help, I was able to have everything explained. You worked with me in a professional and approachable way to get me to where I needed to be in a way that worked for me. Now I’m on my way back to health and can’t thank you enough."
"I feel great. No more heartburn or painful bloating in my tummy, and I’ve been following some of your recipes, which are lovely."
"Just to let you know the changes have been going really well and I already feel so much better for it in general so thank you so much! You’ve been such a good help and given me the reassurance I needed to make such positive changes, I really do appreciate it."
"I have been seeing Elizabeth after having continual digestive issues. Throughout the support I have received I have learnt an awful lot about food. When I found out that I was pregnant I decided to have another session to ensure all my dietary needs were being met. I got a lot out of the consultation and received lots of valuable advice. I believe that anyone who is pregnant should have a session with Elizabeth to get advice about their dietary needs."
"I contacted Liz and she responded quickly by email. At our subsequent meeting, she led me through my food diary, making realistic suggestions for a healthier diet. With the information and recipes she gave me, I was quickly able to make healthier food choices without feeling deprived of my ‘favourites’. This was easy to get used to and after ten weeks, it feels normal. I no longer have periods of extreme tiredness and although it was not my main aim, I have also lost a stone in weight. Without restricting my eating habits, Liz showed me how to introduce healthier foods into my diet. It has made all the difference and I am extremely grateful."
"I started seeing Elizabeth Cooper in January 2015. I am a vegetarian and I was looking for a healthier way of eating. Elizabeth asked me to complete an extensive questionnaire and was able to detect some issues from that. I was introduced to the Alkaline Plan which I knew little about at the time and I began experimenting with the recipes. Elizabeth prescribed a range of vitamins which helped with various ailments. Since embarking on this programme I have cut out to a large extent; dairy products, wheat, gluten, salt, sugar and processed foods. I now buy fresh ingredients and eat a lot of alkaline foods like avocado, broccoli, spirulina, kale, etc. The plan and the help which Elizabeth has given me has been invaluable. I would definitely recommend Elizabeth if you have nutritional concerns and want to get your life back on track."
"I met with Elizabeth in the summer of 2015. I had been having problems with my stomach for months and was getting to the end of my tether. She patiently and knowledgeably advised me to avoid certain foods and planned out a healthy daily diet plus a course of supplements to help heal my gut and build my strength back up. She was also excellent in steering me through NHS tests. I followed her plan for 4 months and my symptoms slowly faded. I still follow the diet advice she gave me. Her follow up appointments were very encouraging and her email correspondence was supportive and prompt. I cannot recommend Elizabeth enough."
“Liz listened to me and considered my needs very carefully. She gave me tailored advice and introduced variety to my diet. I appreciate the time she spent to explain to me the philosophy behind her advice. She changed my perception of what healthy eating is. She is up to date with the latest advances in nutrition. She is not only interested in helping people lose weight but also improve their well-being and help them feel and look healthier and more energetic. I followed her advice and lost a significant amount of weight relatively quickly, reducing my body fat while retaining my muscle mass which was my goal. I would highly recommend Liz to anyone looking to lose weight or learn more about eating healthier and feeling better.”
"I wanted to thank you so much for everything you have done – the last 12 months have certainly changed my perspective and given me a new self-confidence."
