About us

Green Light Nutrition is a specialist online dietetic clinic offering expert nutrition support for people living with cancer and those managing IBS and other gut health conditions. Our team of Registered Dietitians provides personalised, evidence-based care, delivered entirely online, so patients across the UK can access specialist support wherever they are.

We work with patients at every stage - from diagnosis and active treatment through to recovery and long-term management. Whether you're navigating the nutrition challenges of cancer treatment, or have spent years trying to get to the bottom of your gut symptoms, our team will work with you to build a plan that fits your life, your body and your goals.

Appointments are available privately and through a number of major health insurers.

Training, qualifications & experience

All three of our dietitians are HCPC-registered, BDA members, and bring a decade of clinical experience to their work.

Jo (Founder) is a specialist oncology and gut health dietitian with published research in breast cancer nutrition. Jo holds expertise across cancer nutrition and IBS, and is FODMAP-trained.

Sophie is a cancer and gut health specialist working across all cancer types, with a particular passion for breast cancer nutrition. Sophie is also FODMAP-trained and supports patients managing IBS and other gut conditions alongside or following cancer treatment.

Alice is a cancer specialist dietitian working with patients across all cancer types, with a particular clinical focus on upper GI cancers.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 14 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.

If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting nutritional therapy or making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle.
