My experience includes giving individualised dietary advice for patients with moderate to severe obesity, type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, pancreatitis, IBS, ulcerative colitis and enteritis, alcoholic and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, various food intolerances, autoimmune diseases, coeliac disease, pre-and post-op patients, and many other conditions.
I've consulted patients on parental and enteral nutrition in complex neurological, oncological, and surgical cases. I received training to work with NUTRICIA and Abbott Laboratories for parental and enteral nutrition.
Completed a monitoring course for LIBRE A5X in patients with diabetes, EETAS training for patients with eating disorders, as well as advanced training in different areas organised by the British Association for Parental and Enteral Nutrition (BAPEN).
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 14 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting nutritional therapy or making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle.
