About me
Beenish Tariq is a UK-registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (mBANT, rCNHC) and founder of Nutrition by Beenish Ltd, a functional nutrition clinic specialising in digestive dysfunction and complex, multi-system health concerns.
She works with adults who have often tried dietary changes, food eliminations, supplements, or short-term advice, yet their symptoms persist or keep returning.
Ongoing bloating, reflux, altered bowel habits, food sensitivities, fatigue, skin issues, hormonal symptoms, and stress-related concerns rarely exist in isolation. They are often part of a wider pattern involving gut function, stress physiology, immune activity, metabolism, and nutrient status.
This is where many approaches fall short.
Rather than focusing on isolated symptoms, Beenish analyses each case system by system. She looks at how different areas of the body interact and how symptoms have developed over time.
Her work includes:
• Mapping a full medical and symptom timeline
• Analysing symptom clusters rather than isolated complaints
• Reviewing medication history, including possible side effects and nutrient interactions
• Assessing diet, lifestyle, stress, sleep, digestion, energy, hormones, and immune patterns in context
This process allows likely underlying drivers to be identified and prioritised, rather than relying on generic advice or trial-and-error strategies.
Clients are then guided through a structured, personalised plan where recommendations are introduced step by step and adjusted based on response.
This approach is not designed for quick fixes or generic meal plans. It is for individuals who want to understand what may be driving their symptoms and are ready to take a more structured approach to their health.
Beenish works within BANT and CNHC professional standards, with a strong emphasis on safety, clinical reasoning, and personalised care.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained in Nutritional Therapy at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM), where I completed supervised clinical practice across digestive and multi-system health presentations.
My training formed the foundation of my functional medicine approach, with a strong focus on clinical reasoning, case analysis, and personalised nutrition strategies.
I am a registered member of BANT and the CNHC and undertake ongoing professional development to ensure my work remains aligned with current evidence and professional standards.
I also hold additional certification in Assistant Clinic Supervision, supporting clinical training environments and practitioner-level case handling.
My clinical work is focused on adults with persistent digestive symptoms, often alongside fatigue, skin concerns, hormonal disruption, stress-related symptoms, or wider multi-system patterns.
Over time, I have developed a structured, programme-based approach that allows for deeper investigation and more consistent support than short-term or symptom-led advice.

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including massage, aromatherapy and nutrition.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
The British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy is the professional body for Nutritional Therapists. There are different BANT membership classes, including Full Member, Fellow Member and Student Member. All BANT practitioners must have met the required standards of training, be fully insured and adhere to the BANT Code of Ethics and Practice.
Accredited register membership

How My Approach Is Different
Many people try to manage symptoms by adjusting their diet, removing foods, or following general advice, yet symptoms may persist or return. This is often because the wider drivers have not been fully explored.
I take a structured, clinical approach to each case.
Rather than looking at symptoms in isolation, I analyse your health system by system, identifying how digestion, metabolism, stress physiology, immune patterns, medication history, and lifestyle factors may interact.
As part of this process, I assess:
• Your full medical timeline to identify patterns over time
• Symptom clusters rather than isolated issues
• The role of medications, including possible side effects and nutrient interactions
• Diet, lifestyle, stress, sleep, and behavioural factors in context
This allows connections to be identified that are often missed when using a surface-level or purely dietary approach.
The outcome is a structured, personalised strategy based on what is most likely contributing to your symptoms, with clear priorities on what to address first and why.
This is why my work goes beyond standard nutrition advice and focuses on understanding the patterns and mechanisms that may be influencing your health.
Services
Free Roadmap Health Session - 20 minutes
A focused introductory call to understand your main concerns, assess suitability, and determine whether a structured, root-cause approach is appropriate. This is not a full consultation and does not include personalised clinical advice.
Full Spectrum Health Mapping Session (90 minutes) - £250
A comprehensive clinical deep-dive into your case. During the session, we review your symptoms, health history, timeline, lifestyle, diet, medication history, and wider body-system patterns.
The work continues beyond the consultation. After the session, I carry out detailed case analysis, which typically involves 4-5 hours of review depending on complexity.
You receive:
• Root cause analysis
• Medical timeline and system mapping
• Personalised nutrition and lifestyle protocol
• Clear, prioritised next steps
• 4 weeks of support to guide implementation
This is designed for individuals who want clarity on what may be driving their symptoms and a structured plan to move forward.
Follow-Up Consultations - £100
Used to review progress, refine & upgrade your plan, and guide the next phase based on your response.
3-Month Programme - £500
Includes the Full Spectrum Health Mapping Session plus 2 follow-up consultations.
This is suitable for clients who have long term health concerns want ongoing guidance, accountability, and structured progression rather than a one-off consultation.
Programme Options
For ongoing or more complex cases, I offer structured programmes that include the initial assessment, follow-up consultations, and ongoing support between sessions.
These programmes are designed for individuals with persistent digestive symptoms or wider multi-system health concerns who need a more guided approach than a single consultation.
Popular programmes include:
Gut Restoration Programme
For individuals with ongoing bloating, reflux, altered bowel habits, food sensitivities, digestive discomfort, or suspected gut-related patterns.
Bride-to-Be Glow & Gut Programme
For brides who want structured support with digestion, skin, energy, bloating, and confidence ahead of their wedding.
All programmes are personalised to the individual and adjusted based on response.
Further information
All consultations are delivered online via secure video, allowing clients across the UK to access support without the need for travel.
My practice is structured and programme-based rather than ad-hoc or symptom-led. Each client begins with a comprehensive assessment, where symptoms are reviewed alongside health history, lifestyle factors, diet, medication history, and wider system interactions including digestion, stress, energy, hormones, and immune function.
Following the consultation, I carry out detailed case analysis and develop a personalised plan tailored to the individual presentation. Recommendations are introduced step by step and adjusted over time based on response.
This approach is particularly suited to individuals with persistent digestive symptoms, fatigue, skin concerns, hormonal issues, stress-related symptoms, or more complex health patterns.
Where appropriate, functional testing may be considered to support clinical insight. All recommendations are provided within professional scope and aligned with BANT and CNHC standards.
