About me

Going beyond sustainable weight loss to build confidence and strength from the inside out.

I’m a Registered Nutritional Therapist (BSc, mBANT, CNHC), Personal Trainer and Yoga Teacher, and I help women build confidence in their bodies while achieving sustainable physical change.

The You By Anthea approach combines evidence-based nutrition, strength and personal training, and lifestyle coaching with mindset and manifestation principles.

Rather than focusing solely on weight loss, I work with you to change your relationship with your body, whilst helping you rebuild confidence, boost energy, and feel fabulous!

Many women come to me feeling frustrated with restrictive diets, inconsistent habits, or a sense that they’ve lost trust in their body. Together, we shift the focus away from quick fixes and towards understanding how your body works, supporting it properly, and building habits that fit into your real life.

My work is centred around the You By Anthea Body Confidence Blueprint, a five-stage framework:

Appreciate, Identify, Visualise, Align, Allow

This Blueprint helps you to:

  • develop a more positive relationship with your body
  • clarify how you want to feel, not just how you want to look
  • build consistent, aligned habits around nutrition, movement, and lifestyle
  • trust the process, allowing physical results to follow

Alongside this, I offer fully personalised support through nutritional therapy, tailored meal planning, supplement guidance, personal training, yoga, and ongoing accountability.

The goal isn’t just about physical transformation; it’s about helping you feel stronger and more confident from the inside out. You can regain control of your health and create a lifestyle that supports you to achieve and maintain results.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a Registered Nutritional Therapist (mBANT, CNHC) holding a BSc (Hons) in Nutritional Therapy from the Centre for Nutrition Education and Lifestyle Management, in partnership with Middlesex University.

I am also a Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer, specialising in at-home and outdoor training, with expertise in kettlebell training, suspension (TRX) systems, and Thai boxing-based fitness. I am a Master Kettlebell Instructor and hold a Level 3 qualification in Pre and Postnatal Exercise Programming.

Alongside this, I am a qualified yoga teacher registered with Yoga Alliance Professionals, teaching vinyasa, yin, and ashtanga yoga, as well as offering individual and partner instruction. I also hold a British Gymnastics Level 1 coaching qualification.

With over 12 years’ experience, I have worked extensively with private clients, led group training and yoga classes, and delivered corporate nutrition and wellbeing workshops.

My work has also extended into media and collaboration, including developing healthy recipes and meal plans with Vicky Pattison, and contributing to fitness and wellbeing features in The Stylist, Psychologies, Yours, and Take a Break magazine.

Reset Programme £125

This is a two-week kickstarter programme, offering support and guidance without the depth or time commitment of private mentorship. This programme focuses on:

  • Giving you a kick start with clear, realistic action steps.
  • Supporting energy, digestion and body confidence.
  • Creating momentum and confidence to move forward.

Reset can be a powerful standalone programme, or a stepping stone into the Transform Private Mentorship.

Transform Private Mentorship from £4,200 (Payable in three instalments)

Transform is a private, one-to-one mentorship designed to support women who are ready to go deeper than surface-level fixes. This programme is for you if you want structure, accountability and expert input across nutrition, movement and lifestyle, all tailored to you.

Personalised Nutrition Support: Your programme is based on your goals, lifestyle and individual needs. Weekly nutrition sessions outline a strategy, with clear actions, and meal planning tailored to your needs, preferences and schedule.
Movement and Training: Training sessions are aligned to your experience, preferences and goals. These are delivered online, in person in Surrey, or as a combination of both.
Coaching and Accountability: Daily accountability helps you to stay consistent, confident and focused. Regular check-ins and progress reviews are part of the process, and we move at a pace that’s right for you.
Lifestyle, Habit and Mindset: Nutrition and exercise alone won’t create lasting changes. Addressing stress, recovery, routines and behaviours can significantly impact your results. Manifestation mindset work can be a powerful tool to work alongside the above.

Further information

Like many nutrition professionals it was an interest in my own health and wellbeing that sparked a desire to learn more.  After years of adopting a deprivation, calorie-centred approach to weight loss, I discovered a different approach by learning about nutrition. With so many conflicting messages in the media and outdated advice still circulating, I wanted to study nutrition with a solid science and evidence base and so I completed my BSc in Nutritional Therapy at the Centre for Nutrition Education and Lifestyle Management.

Continued Professional Development is not only a requirement of BANT the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy) and the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council), but also a key part of the You By Anthea ethos.  Conferences, seminars, and courses help to keep me up to date with the latest research and nutritional approaches.

I am absolutely passionate about food and healthy cooking, and my aim is always to provide food plans that are not only tailored for specific health goals but that also taste delicious!

In contrast to a common deprivation and restriction-based mindset around weight loss, You By Anthea takes a positive approach. This focuses on inclusion and nourishment with nutrition, and gratitude and appreciation with body movement. Loving your body is one of the most powerful ways to start your health journey - not just something that should come at the end.

I am always keen to share new recipes with clients and have provided recipes and filmed cooking tutorials with Vicky Pattison (Geordie Shore, I’m a Celebrity, Loose Women) for Mini V Nutrition. Some of my recipes for Mini V Nutrition have also been published in The Sun newspaper. You can also find some of my recipes in Vicky Pattison’s book, "The Real Me.”

I am keen on pole fitness, gymnastics, bouldering and climbing. I previously trained as a martial artist, training and competing in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. And so I am personally aware of the impact that nutrition can have when it comes to training, weight cutting, performing, and recovery. To help bring more physical and mental balance into my life, I started to explore yoga. Finding a love for this led me to grow my understanding and complete yoga teacher training in Goa, India. Most recently I rediscovered my love for gymnastics as a child, and coach children  - helping to boost confidence and self esteem from an early age.
