About me

I'm a Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (Reg CNHC, mBANT), Nutrition Network Metabolic Coach Practitioner (NNP) and Member of the Society of Metabolic Health Practitioners (mSMHP).

I specialise in empowering and coaching people with metabolic disease (Type 2 , Insulin Resistance, Hypertension, Dyslipidaemia, Overweight) to reach their goals, gain energy and feel in control of food cravings.

I combine my knowledge of nutritional therapy and functional medicine with Insight based coaching skills, and my many years of experience in care management, plus my own lived experience of overweight and metabolic disease.  I don't just give you a list of instructions on what to eat and how to live, I hold your hand throughout, giving you practical, achievable solutions to find your way out of a dark tunnel, to brighter beginnings.

My aim is to empower you for life, not for a quick fix.

Training, qualifications & experience

BSc Nutritional Therapy from the University of West London with over 10 years experience (Registered Nutritionist (mBANT), Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (mCNHC).

I am also a qualified Nutrition Network Coach Practitioner (NNP) and a member of the Society of Metabolic Health Practitioners (mSMHP), with substantial training in metabolic health, some of which includes:

  • Diabetes Reversal
  • Addictive Eating
  • Professional Training in Low Carb/High Fat/Ketogenic Nutrition & Treatment

I volunteer and am an ambassador for The Public Health Collaboration (PHC), which aims to support the NHS GP practices to reduce the burden of metabolic disease.

I have over 20 years experience working in care, including 14 years as a Registered Care Home Manager. I supported a wide range of people with various illnesses, progressive diseases, disabilities and end of life care.  I had extensive training over these years, but some of the training included:

  • Level 2 Counselling
  • NVQ 4 Registered Care Manager Award
  • City & Guilds Advanced Management for Care
