Delivering nutrition consultations training
This interactive training covers:
- pre-consultation communication with clients
- the purpose of initial consultations
- behaviour change
- walking with your client on a unique journey
- completing the client journey
- developing your own style
- reflection and evaluation
There will be lots of opportunities to practice your skills during the training, receive feedback and understand how the client feels during their interactions with you.
When this course is delivered online via Zoom it is not a webinar, although you will learn lots of theory too, it is an interactive session.

Who is the course for?
This course is open to nutritionists registered with the Association for Nutrition, those on AfN-accredited courses or those on courses which are eligible for portfolio entry. The course is aimed at UK-based nutritionists, however, it is open to non-UK nutritionists. Whether you work as a freelancer or are employed, this course is for you.

Delivered by experienced and award winning Registered Nutritionist Aliya Porter. Aliya has been delivering 1-1 consultations since 2006. She has extensive teaching experience too. Aliya runs Porter Nutrition and Weaning Centre working with both adults and children to support their nutritional needs.
