I am a dual-registered dietitian and public health nutritionist with more than 13 years of clinical, research, and academic work experience. I am passionate about making evidence-based nutrition services accessible to everyone, regardless of background or circumstance.

Whether you are managing a long-term health condition, looking to improve your general diet and wellbeing, or seeking expert nutritional guidance at a particular life stage, I am happy to provide support. 

I offer personalised (1:1) in-person or remote nutrition consultations via video and chat to corporate and individual clients.

Experience: 

I have over 13 years of hands-on clinical, research, academic and community nutrition and dietetic experience, including the following:

Delivered medical nutrition therapy (MNT) for clients with diet-related conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, obesity, renal, and gastrointestinal conditions.

Conducted comprehensive nutrition assessments and developed individualised care plans using the Nutrition Care Process.

Designed and delivered clinical dietetics and nutrition teaching; supervised student research dissertations and clinical placements.

Planned and oversaw therapeutic and modified diets within institutional catering, implementing HACCP-based food safety systems.

Served as Head of Department (2017–2024): led curriculum development, programme coordination, faculty oversight, and institutional representation.

Accomplishing supervised rotational dietetic practice (about 1,200 hours) in major teaching hospitals at various units, including medical, surgical, paediatric, renal, and general OPD settings.

Presently delivering nutrition-informed person-centred care in residential dementia and mental health nursing homes in Bristol, UK.

Delivering personalised 1:1 remote nutrition consultations via video and chat to corporate and individual clients with diabetes, PCOS, obesity, hypertension, and related chronic conditions.

Research experience:

I have a strong background in nutrition research, including:

  • Serving as Principal Investigator on a community-based randomised controlled trial (RCT) addressing maternal and child undernutrition in rural north-eastern Ghana
    Coordinating a current clinical study on Bird's Nest Peptides and maternal-foetal outcomes, overseeing ethics applications, participant recruitment, and field coordination
  • Contributing to peer-reviewed publications in maternal and child nutrition, school feeding programmes, and community-based nutrition interventions
  • Presenting at international conferences and participating in research capacity-building programmes, including the Canadian Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Advanced Scholars Program and the UKRI Agri-food for Net Zero Network

I am committed to ongoing learning and professional development, regularly updating my knowledge and practice in line with the latest evidence in clinical dietetics, public health nutrition, and sustainable food systems.

Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 14 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

Services are delivered in-person or remotely via secure online consultations, allowing clients to access professional nutrition support from the comfort of their home or workplace. 

Appointments are available by email, video call, telephone, or messaging, depending on client preference. Before consultations, clients may be asked to complete a health questionnaire or food diary or share relevant medical information to help provide personalised guidelines.
