About me

Hi, I’m Rachel, a Nutritional Therapist supporting women, children, and their families to restore balance and improve their health through personalised nutrition and lifestyle support.

My work is rooted in a naturopathic philosophy, the understanding that the body is inherently driven towards health and has a strong capacity to heal when given the right environment and support. Rather than working against the body, I work with it, helping to restore balance and create the conditions for it to function at its best.

If you feel overwhelmed by conflicting health advice or unsure what your body really needs, you’re not alone. Overlapping symptoms such as digestive discomfort, low energy, hormonal changes, sleep disruption, or skin concerns can make it difficult to see what’s really going on.

I help you make sense of these patterns, bringing clarity to your symptoms and identifying what may be driving them. My approach is personalised and evidence-informed, recognising the body as an interconnected whole rather than a collection of separate systems or isolated symptoms.

I support a range of areas, including:

  • Digestive and gut health
  • Hormonal and metabolic health
  • Children’s health and development
  • Energy, immunity and skin health
  • Lifestyle and overall wellbeing

Through 1:1 consultations, I can help you to:

  • Understand your symptoms and health patterns
  • Identify underlying imbalances and contributing factors
  • Create a realistic, personalised plan
  • Make sustainable changes that support long-term wellbeing

Your plan may include targeted nutrition strategies, lifestyle adjustments and support around areas such as stress, digestion and hormonal balance. Functional testing may also be considered where appropriate.

A key part of my work is helping you feel confident in managing your own health. My aim is to equip you with the knowledge and understanding to make informed decisions without overwhelm, restriction or quick fixes.

I offer online and in-person consultations, as well as one-off sessions, longer-term programmes, and short, supportive courses within the local community, designed to provide practical guidance in an accessible group setting.

Alongside my 1:1 work, I also deliver workshops and talks within schools and community settings, combining my background in education with clear, practical nutrition guidance to support wider wellbeing.

Information about health conditions (*)

Nutritional therapy can help enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting nutritional therapy or making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle.

Further information

Before retraining as a Nutritional Therapist, I spent over 20 years in education, including leadership roles and supporting children with special educational needs (SEN). This background shapes how I work, breaking down complex health information into clear, manageable steps so you feel informed, supported, and not overwhelmed.

My training in nutritional therapy deepened my understanding of how interconnected the body’s systems are, and how symptoms often reflect underlying imbalances rather than isolated issues. I take a holistic, evidence-informed approach, considering nutrition alongside lifestyle, stress and emotional wellbeing.

I understand the realities of managing your health alongside busy lives and responsibilities, especially when you’re used to putting others first. I offer a calm, supportive space where you can explore your health without judgement, focusing on realistic, sustainable strategies that fit into everyday life.
