About me

Hi, I'm Nicola and I'm a qualified Nutritional Therapist & Naturopath.

I would love to help you regain your health and vitality and will work with you on a one to one basis to determine the root cause of your symptoms or to simply reach your health goals.

Once this is established we will nourish your body and address any deficiencies or toxicities using food as medicine, incorporating diet and lifestyle changes and supported by high quality supplements and state of the art diagnostic testing, when required.

Consultations are carried out at either of my clinics in Calne or Marlborough in Wiltshire or alternatively from the comfort of your own home via skype.

About Nutritional Therapy:

Nutritional Therapy is a therapeutic approach to addressing medical conditions and their associated symptoms.

Using the Functional Medicine Model and incorporating state of the art testing, where required, we aim to get to the root cause of your symptoms or health concerns, rather than just treating the symptoms and leaving the root cause to continue unresolved.

Once we have established the root cause we address this imbalance, correcting any nutrient deficiencies or toxicities, using a specifically tailored diet and high quality supplementation, when necessary.

We may also recommend key lifestyle changes addressing exercise, sleep, stress and social connections which all have a crucial role to play in our overall physical and mental health.

About Naturopathy:

Naturopathy is a system of health care which promotes the body’s own self-healing mechanism.

A Naturopath believes in supporting the person as a whole, rather than just treating the disease.  When the person is supported physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually and all these areas are in balance, the body will automatically return to good health.

As a Naturopath I am also trained to understand a number of different specialisms to better enable me to establish the root cause and address your health concerns, including:

Naturopathic Nutrition, Detoxification, Hydrotherapy, Tissue Salts, Bach Flower Remedies, Homeopathy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Herbal Medicine, Bodyworks and Iridology.

Testimonials:

"I visited Nicola recently regarding a range of ailments that had been bothering me and was feeling lethargic, tired and overweight. Nicola was so kind and knowledgeable and listened to every word I had to say. She came back to me with such good advice and a plan that I could easily follow. When I returned for my follow-up appointment I genuinely felt like a new person! I would wholeheartedly recommend Nicola to anyone wishing to feel better about themselves or who is simply lost in the confusing world of nutrition and would like to speak to a voice of sensible reason." Solance

"I contacted Nicola when I was in severe pain waiting to be seen by the NHS and found her to be very welcoming and extremely professional. She was very thorough when gathering information regarding my symptoms, medical history, family history etc to try to identify the root cause of my problem. She provided me with a detailed analysis of her findings, together with a plan of how to help my body heal and the steps to take towards long-term care. With her help I am now feeling so much better. Nicola is extremely passionate about helping people and is an excellent listener. I would not hesitate in returning to see her in the future." Julie

"Having always struggled with feeling run down, with a lack of energy and generally feeling the cold far more than was normal I decided to seek expert advice. I contacted Nicola and she could not have been more helpful - she was very friendly and professional and has such a wealth of knowledge. She made a few changes to my diet and lifestyle and recommended a few short-term supplements and I can honestly say I feel so much better, not just physically but mentally too. I would recommend that anyone with any kind of health issue contacts Nicola for advice and support." Lucy
