About me
I’m a Registered Associate Nutritionist with the AfN and the founder of The Nutrition Intuition. I work with women who want support navigating their GLP-1 journey and beyond.
My approach is science-led and evidence-based. This means my recommendations are grounded in the best available nutrition research and current evidence around GLP-1 medication, while being tailored to your individual needs, preferences, lifestyle and goals. I believe nutrition support should be practical, realistic and personal, not based on fad diets, quick fixes or one-size-fits-all rules.
I know first-hand how difficult it can be to feel stuck in a cycle of dieting. Throughout my teens and adult life, I went from one diet to another. I used to clear out my food cupboards on a Sunday evening, ready for the new diet on Monday.
Over time, I began working on my relationship with food and moving away from the restrictive mindset that had shaped so much of my eating. This included allowing myself to enjoy my favourite foods regularly, listening to my hunger and fullness cues, and understanding the behaviours and patterns behind my eating.
That experience is a big part of why I do the work I do today. I want women to feel more confident around food, develop sustainable habits and move away from the guilt and restriction that diet culture can create.
My approach is not just about what you eat. It’s about understanding the bigger picture of your health, your habits, your mindset and your relationship with your body.

Testimonials
"Lorna was really great to work with, she gently guided me in rethinking my relationship with food.
Recognising how I felt and challenging that - really tuning in and connecting with my body on when I felt full.
Lorna challenges your thought process around eating, she's helped me to rebuild a healthier relationship with all food.
It's a work in progress but I've definitely got the building blocks."
"Lorna, I want to thank you for your guidance in teaching me the value of eating well and maintaining a balanced diet.
Throughout the 12 weeks, you consistently uplifted me with encouragement and kind words, even on weeks when I felt I hadn't done my best.
Your knowledge and practical suggestions really helped me, and all the recipes helped me embrace new flavours and better habits. I've gained confidence in reading food labels.
Lorna, you have taught me to listen to my body, eating until I am satisfied rather than finishing a plate out of obligation.
While I recognise there's more progress to be made, your steady support and encouragement have given me a strong foundation to build on."
