About me

My name is Lorna, and I am a registered Nutritional Therapist.

Having had a successful career as a cookbook author and recipe writer and always keen to promote healthy eating, becoming a nutritional therapist seemed like a natural progression.

What can I offer?
I offer personalised programmes that help support clients improve their health with diet and lifestyle changes. This includes helping you achieve optimum health through eating the right foods with simple and effective changes, supported with meals plans and delicious recipes.

If you are concerned about your health and have a condition that has not been resolved with mainstream medicine, then nutritional therapy is for you.

Why did I become a Nutritional Therapist?
My motivation for becoming a Nutritional Therapist is to help people experience good health as they age and try to alleviate the possibilities of age-related conditions, so it is never too soon to start looking after your health.

I have always considered myself to be healthy, eating good quality fresh food and yet five years ago I was diagnosed with a breast tumour. Through my own experience and learning how I could help myself, including changes to my diet, I managed the treatment with few side effects, and now feeling as well as ever. I have since trained in supporting clients with this type of illness, with appropriate dietary advice and helping to create integrative programmes with oncologists.

Whatever your condition, the aim is to encourage the body to heal itself, and enjoy good health. I now consider that every meal is an opportunity to nourish the body. For further information on how a consultation works and fees please visit my website or get in touch!
