About me
Hi, I’m Lisa,
Why me?
I’m a holistic therapist with over 30 years’ experience as a naturopathic nutritionist, massage therapist, and reflexologist. I also hold a degree in psychology and a certificate in counselling, which allows me to support clients in a way that is both practical and emotionally attuned.
My passion for this work runs deep. After taking time to focus on my own journey back to wellness, I return with an even greater appreciation for the body’s capacity to heal and the importance of compassionate, personalised support. I’m here to help you move toward steadier health and wellbeing, whatever challenges you may be facing.
Who can I help?
I work with anyone who is ready to explore their health in a holistic, whole‑person way. My approach is often described as “peeling back the layers of an onion” - helping you explore the lifestyle, nutritional and wellbeing factors that may be influencing how you feel.
Over the years I’ve supported clients with a wide range of concerns, including weight balance, stress, low mood, digestive health and more. Every person’s story is unique, and my role is to help you understand what your body is communicating and how to support it back into balance.
How do I work?
I draw on a broad spectrum of knowledge to support you in a heart‑centered, bespoke way. No two clients are alike, and I tailor my approach to your unique needs. My work weaves together optimum nutrition, age‑old naturopathic techniques, mind–body perspectives, the Biological Laws of Nature, and counselling principles to support your whole wellbeing.
Do I have a specific method?
The first step is always understanding what’s going on - the issues you’re experiencing and how they may be affecting your body and mind. From there, we work gently and systematically:
- Encouraging healthy lifestyle habits and self-care practices
- Exploring nutritional approaches that may support digestive wellbeing
- Introducing a nourishing, health‑promoting way of eating.
- Exploring emotional patterns where relevant
- Using simple techniques, you can continue at home
- Where appropriate, we may also explore flower essences, herbal support, supplementation, and energy‑based practices.
If emotional factors are contributing to your symptoms, we can work with those too, at a pace that feels safe and grounded.
I may also guide you on testing if it could offer clarity.
What will my Action Plan include?
Your personal Action Plan outlines what to focus on over the next 1–2 months. It may include:
- Nutritional guidance
- Menus and recipes
- Shopping lists
- Lifestyle practices
- Simple wellbeing practices to support your health goals
- Additional resources tailored to your needs
This becomes your roadmap - clear, manageable, and supportive.
Can you give me more specifics of how you will my wellbeing goals?
My aim is to help you understand what your body is communicating and how to support it back into balance. This may include:
- Exploring dietary and lifestyle approaches that may support digestive wellbeing
- Supporting healthy lifestyle habits
- Encouraging hydration, movement and balanced nutrition
- Reviewing everyday lifestyle and environmental factors
- Identifying potential food intolerances
- Exploring vitamin and mineral insufficiencies
- Offering general guidance on supplementation where appropriate
- Discussing ways to support overall wellbeing and resilience
- Exploring how emotional patterns may be influencing symptoms
- Providing ongoing email support where needed
This is always done gently, collaboratively, and with respect for your pace.
