Training, qualifications & experience
Jane graduated from the University of Chester in 2013 with a BSc (Hons) in Nutrition & Dietetics and has been a UK HCPC-registered Dietitian since qualification. She has over 12 years’ experience working within the NHS and currently practises as an Advanced Gastroenterology Dietitian.
Throughout her NHS career, she developed extensive expertise in the assessment and management of complex digestive conditions. This includes interpreting clinical diagnoses, reviewing medications and blood test results, identifying nutritional deficiencies, and delivering evidence-based medical nutrition therapy tailored to the individual.
Dietitians are the only nutrition professionals in the UK who are statutorily regulated and trained to work clinically with disease. While all dietitians are nutritionists, not all nutritionists are dietitians, a distinction that is particularly important when managing digestive disorders where safety, clinical judgement and multidisciplinary working are essential.
Alongside Jane's dietetic practice, she is currently undertaking further training in gut-directed hypnotherapy, reflecting her interest in the gut–brain axis and commitment to a more holistic, patient-centred approach to digestive health.
At The Mindful Gut Dietitian, Jane combines clinical expertise with compassionate care, supporting clients to manage symptoms effectively, protect their nutritional status and develop a more confident, relaxed relationship with food.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 14 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

Investment in Your Gut Health
At The Mindful Gut Dietitian, I offer two tailored support packages designed to meet you where you are and help you make meaningful progress with confidence and clarity. Payment plans are available.
Gut Reset Masterplan (12 weeks)- £750
This structured programme is perfect if you’re ready to go beyond a one-off consultation and work step by step to uncover your triggers, understand your symptoms, and build lasting strategies for calmer digestion. It includes a detailed assessment, regular follow-ups and personalised support spread out over 12 weeks giving you the time and guidance needed for lasting change.
Your Gut Health Solution Package (2-appointment) - £300
This shorter package includes a 90-minute initial appointment and a follow-up review with me, so we can dive into your gut health concerns, build a personalised nutrition plan, and refine it together after you’ve had time to begin putting it into practice. It’s ideal if you want focused, expert support without committing to a longer programme. There may be flexibility to spread the time over three appointments depending on your situation and goals.
Both packages are intentionally designed to offer evidence-based, compassionate care tailored to your unique gut health needs. They also represent better value compared with booking sessions individually helping you feel supported, empowered, and confident as you work towards a calmer, more comfortable gut.
