About me

I specialise in helping women in their 40s, 50s and 60s manage symptoms such as weight gain, brain fog, hot flushes, mood swings and disrupted sleep naturally through changes to diet and lifestyle.  These are just some of the most common symptoms that women experience at meno-pause and perimenopause, with all the hormonal changes underway.

My 12-week programme - The Meno-pause Method - takes a deep dive into all the areas of your nutrition and lifestyle factors that affect your symptoms and how you feel.

Don't underestimate the powerful effect that food has on your biology and overall health and wellbeing.  Like many of my clients you may be surprised how simple changes  add up to making a profound difference to how you feel.

Working with me is like working with a health detective. I aim to uncover the root cause[s] of your symptoms, rather than just treating them.  To do this I take a full and detailed health history and 3-day food diary and then spend time researching and working with you to create a personalised plan of action that fits around your lifestyle, likes and dislikes.

I offer a range of services, from one-off sessions to my 12-week programme, depending on your health concerns, goals and needs. I also interpret blood, saliva, urine and stool tests [both NHS and from private labs].

In addition to my private nutrition clinic I work in the NHS as a Health & Wellbeing Coach and run healthy eating and weight loss courses in local GP surgeries on behalf of the Public Health Collaboration charity.  nt science and evidence available.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained at the widely recognised and long-established Institute for Optimum Nutrition and am registered with BANT (British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine) and CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council).

I have been running my private nutrition clinic since September 2021 and also work a Health & Wellbeing Coach within the NHS, as well as run healthy eating and weight loss programmes in local GP surgeries on behalf of the Public Health Collaboration charity.

Additional information

Working with me over a period 12-weeks within a programme of 1:1 nutrition coaching sessions is designed to uncover the underlying causes of your symptoms. It also gives you time to make changes at the speed you are comfortable with. Incremental small changes that fit with your lifestyle all add up to make a noticeable difference in getting you back to feeling great again. The investment for the Meno-pause Method is £990.

I also offer a one-off 1-hour intensive session if there is just one major symptom or health concern that is bothering you and would like to come up with a strategy for dealing with it naturally.  Investment: £250.

Alternatively if you'd like me to review your diet and suggest some healthy improvements, without the detailed health history and assessment, a 60-minute Dietary MOT/Nutrition Review is £95.

I can arrange a Health & Wellness Check, which includes a comprehensive blood test via a private laboratory, as well as other private functional tests, including hormone and stool tests, and can interpret your set of GP blood results.

Plus, if you'd just like a review of your supplements to ensure they're fit for purpose and not going to interact with any medication you're taking I can do that also as a one-off session.

Get in touch if you'd like to chat to me about what support you're looking for and to see if I can help.

I offer a complimentary, no obligation 30-minute call via Zoom so that we can talk about your health concerns and you can find out how I work and whether it's for you.

Further information

What my clients have said about working with me:

"Through working with Helen, I found a cure for an 8-month long chronic headache. I've also lost weight, my sleep has improved and my hot flushes are less."

"I was tempted to take HRT, but luckily found Helen. She has totally changed my moods, my weight, my stomach issues and my aching joints. She has set me on a new path for the future."

“My energy levels have improved greatly, my mood swings are less frequent and brain fog improved. I felt like a broken person before and am now able to look forward to the rest of my life.  Thank you!”

“This is the best things I’ve done. I’ve lost weight, am more energised and have had to reduce my HRT”

“After making the changes Helen recommended to my diet and lifestyle, my hot flushes and night sweats were definitely improved after 4 weeks.”

“Helen has transformed the lives of some of my patients, through empowering, inspiring and education… she is passionate about what she does and this shines through in the sessions, helping to motivate individuals in a group setting.  She researches thoroughly, before passing on this knowledge in a kind, sensitive and often humorous and light-hearted way!”   Dr. Clare Nieland, GP Partner, Cedars Surgery, Maidenhead

“Helen was extremely professional and I learned more about how my gastro-intestinal system works in 1 hour than I have over the past 30 years in trying to get to the root cause of my symptoms.”

“I was really impressed with Helen’s knowledge and approach in uncovering what had led to me suddenly developing a rash last year, and by the 3rd consultation my symptoms were 80% improved.”

"I thought I had a good understanding of healthy foods however Helen’s knowledge took me to a different level. I found Helen easy to talk to, she is genuinely interested in her clients health and obviously enjoys what she is doing. "
