About me

I run a part-time private nutrition clinic and also work in the NHS as a Health & Wellbeing Coach. In addition, I run weight loss courses in local GP surgeries on behalf of the Public Health Collaboration charity.

I help women and men looking for natural solutions and a holistic approach to their health concerns, who are ready and committed to taking action and making changes to their nutrition and lifestyle.

Most people underestimate the powerful effect that food has on their health and wellbeing and are often surprised when simple changes add up to make a profound difference to how they feel.

Working with a nutritional therapist is like working with a health detective, in that I am trained to uncover the root cause of your symptoms, rather than just treating the symptoms.  To do this I take a full and detailed health history and 3-day food diary and then spend time researching and working with you to uncover the underlying causes of your symptoms. Together we create a personalised plan of action that fits around your lifestyle, likes and dislikes.

I offer a range of services, from one-off sessions to 12-week programmes, depending on your health concerns, goals and needs. I also interpret blood, saliva, urine and stool tests [both NHS and from private labs] either as part of a programme or as a one-off consultation.

My advice and recommendations are based on the most recent science and evidence available.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained at the widely recognised and long-established Institute for Optimum Nutrition and am registered with BANT (British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine) and CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council).

I running my private nutrition clinic since September 2021 and also work a Health & Wellbeing Coach within the NHS, plus I run weight loss programmes on behalf of the Public Health Collaboration charity in local GP surgeries.

Nutritional therapy can help enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting nutritional therapy or making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle.

Additional information

The M-Method is a completely personalised 12-week 1:1 program for  menopausal women who are ready to start getting back to normal and feeling like their old selves again. The investment for the M-Method is £990.

I also offer a one-off 1-hour intensive session if there is just one major symptom that is bothering you and would like to come up with a strategy for dealing with it naturally.  The M-Intensive is £250.

Alternatively if you'd like me to review your diet and suggest some healthy improvements, without the detailed health history and assessment, a 60-minute Dietary MOT is £90.

I also offer a one-off Health & Wellness Check, which includes a comprehensive blood test via a private laboratory. I can arrange other private functional tests, including hormone and stool tests, as well as interpret your set of GP blood results.

Plus, if you'd just like a review of your supplements to ensure they're fit for purpose and not going to interact with any medication you're taking I can do that also as a one-off session.

Get in touch if you'd like to chat to me about what support you're looking for and to see if I can help. I offer a complimentary, no obligation 30-minute call via Zoom so that we can meet each other and you can find out how I work and whether it's for you.

Further information

What my clients have said about working with me:

"I was tempted to take HRT, but luckily found Helen. She has totally changed my moods, my weight, my stomach issues and my aching joints. She has set me on a new path for the future."

“My energy levels have improved greatly, my mood swings are less frequent and brain fog improved. I felt like a broken person before and am now able to look forward to the rest of my life.  Thank you!”

“This is the best things I’ve done. I’ve lost weight, am more energised and have had to reduce my HRT”

“After making the changes Helen recommended to my diet and lifestyle, my hot flushes and night sweats were definitely improved after 4 weeks.”

“Helen has transformed the lives of some of my patients, through empowering, inspiring and education… she is passionate about what she does and this shines through in the sessions, helping to motivate individuals in a group setting.  She researches thoroughly, before passing on this knowledge in a kind, sensitive and often humorous and light-hearted way!”   Dr. Clare Nieland, GP Partner, Cedars Surgery, Maidenhead

“Helen was extremely professional and I learned more about how my gastro-intestinal system works in 1 hour than I have over the past 30 years in trying to get to the root cause of my symptoms.”

“I was really impressed with Helen’s knowledge and approach in uncovering what had led to me suddenly developing a rash last year, and by the 3rd consultation my symptoms were 80% improved.”

"I thought I had a good understanding of healthy foods however Helen’s knowledge took me to a different level. I found Helen easy to talk to, she is genuinely interested in her clients health and obviously enjoys what she is doing. "
