About me
Hi, I’m Gemma Besant, a Registered Dietitian with over 12 years of experience supporting people to live healthier lives, manage their weight, and improve diet-related conditions such as diabetes, high cholesterol, obesity, and IBS.
I have developed a 5 session one-to-one weight management programme: The Remedy Method:
The Remedy Method is a comprehensive, Dietitian-led programme designed to empower you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to take control of your diet and lifestyle.
This programme goes beyond traditional weight loss approaches. It helps you understand why you eat the way you do, while providing practical tools and strategies to support sustainable, long-term change.
What Makes The Remedy Method Different?
The Remedy Method, doesn't just focus on food, it's a whole-person approach to your health.
Together, we explore:
- Your relationship with food and eating habits

- How stress, sleep, and lifestyle influence your weight (tailored to your personal circumstances)
- Realistic strategies to incorporate movement into busy lives
- The impact of gut health on your overall health
- Plus, much more!
By the end of the programme, you will:
- Have a better understand your own eating behaviours
- Feel more confident and in control of your choices
- Have simple, achievable strategies tailored to your life
