About me
I’ve been where you are: struggling to see a light at the end of the tunnel, hiding yourself away from the world, feeling trapped inside your own body.
And now I’m here as a nutritional therapist to help you gain control over your skin and gut, create healthy and sustainable habits, and live life to the full again. No restrictions, no miracle cures, no empty promises – just working with your body’s needs instead of battling against them.
You’ve tried everything to solve your skin and gut issues…
- You’ve spent hundreds of £££ on skincare products
- You’ve tried cutting out gluten, dairy, eggs & carbs
- You’ve been given antibiotics, topical creams and vague advice from your GP
- you’ve drunk more water, exercised more and quit alcohol
- you’ve Googled ‘how to clear my skin’, ‘how to fix gut health’ thousands of times
… but you still haven’t found something that works. You’re desperate to find the solution to your gut and skin woes… - You want clear, healthy skin
- You want to heal your relationship with food
- You want a long-term solution that actually works
- You want to know what’s really causing your symptoms
- You want to finally feel healthy, happy and confident again
… and you’re in the right place.
During our nutritional therapy consultations, we will work together to uncover the cause of your skin and gut condition and find solutions that work for you.
Training, qualifications & experience
How am I qualified to help you on your health journey?
I trained in Naturopathic Nutrition at the College of Naturopathic Medicine and went on to further my studies with The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM).
My passion for skin health led me to deepen my knowledge beyond nutrition alone, qualifying as a Level 3 Skin Specialist so I could better understand the skin barrier and how topical treatments work alongside internal support.
Alongside my clinical practice, I’ve been part of the Clinical Nutrition Team at BioCare, providing practitioner education and clinical support to both clients and healthcare professionals. I’ve also helped deliver the NHS Healthier You Programme, supporting those with pre-diabetes to improve their health through personalised diet and lifestyle changes.
I’m also a member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and registered practitioner with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) which means even though I’ve “finished” my academic studies, I’m required to complete a minimum of 30 hours every year building on my nutritional knowledge so that I’m always giving the most up-to-date, research-backed recommendations for you.
I have an annoyingly insatiable appetite for learning everything there is to know about the human body and how interconnected every part of it is, so when I’m not helping clients you’ll usually find me reading journal articles, attending conferences or catching up on a webinar.
And when I’m not being a nutrition-nerd, you’ll usually find me experimenting with new recipes, wandering around art galleries, travelling to explore different cultures and their food traditions, or adding yet another cookbook to my growing collection.
