Elizabeth McCabe- Fully Qualified Registered Dietitian
I provide one to one advice and support for many medical conditions, digestive discomfort and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). I am a fully accredited FODMAP dietitian, trained to help you find your way through a FODMAP diet. However, many of my patients find improvements in symptoms without having to commit to FODMAPS. I can support you with first line recommendations that can often help, before this is needed.
Equally, if these first line approaches do not help, I can support you with FODMAP too.
I provide weight management support and advice and like to tailor my approach to a weight loss plan individual to each client.
I also educate around the general principles of healthy eating to fit your circumstances.
I am an HCPC registered dietitian (BSC Hons Dietetics), which means I am fully regulated to guide you by providing up-to-date information that is purely evidence based. This means, it has undergone rigorous evaluation and scientific studies.
I have a passion for food, health and promoting only evidenced based healthy eating advice. I want to help you optimise your health and wellbeing. I share my passion for factual nutritional advice by blogging, FACTS not FADS @deliziouslylizzinlife.
I can help you achieve/improve your personal wellness! My aim is to support you through this journey of achievement to improve your symptoms and OPTIMISE your nutritional status. In most cases, I can help you within only a few appointments.

Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
Health and Care Professions Council
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 14 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
If you have been diagnosed or suspect you may have this medical condition, you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies, treatments or making any major changes in your diet or exercise programme.

I am also qualified to help people recovering from Stroke and living other neurological medical conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinsons Disease and Motor Neurone Disease. I am available to educate around cardiac rehab following a heart attack, providing secondary prevention advice.
I try to keep my prices low as I don't believe nutrition advice needs to be made complicated. A healthy balanced diet is achievable on all budgets and good nutrition does not need to be expensive.
