About me
Hello, I’m Daniella, a warm and supportive dietitian with expertise in sports nutrition and paediatric nutrition.
My journey into nutrition began when I was 12 years old. As a young athlete, I saw a dietitian for the first time, and the impact it had on my health and performance was life-changing. That experience sparked a lasting passion for nutrition and set me on the path to becoming the dietitian I am today.
I hold both undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in Dietetics, where I developed strong clinical knowledge while working with a wide variety of patient groups. With a background as a committed athlete, I have a particular interest in sports nutrition. My master’s research focused on the dietary intake of female university team-sport athletes, giving me valuable insight into the nutritional and training demands of this population. Since then, I’ve supported athletes across multiple sports, including rugby, football and hockey.
I also work with endurance athletes taking part in marathons, triathlons and ultra-events, as well as strength-focused individuals aiming to increase muscle mass and optimise body composition. I enjoy helping athletes of all ages and abilities work towards their goals, whether that’s improving performance, changing body composition, or addressing specific nutrition concerns. My approach is always evidence-based and tailored to the individual, ensuring you’re properly fuelled to perform at your best.
Paediatric nutrition is another area I care deeply about. I love working with parents to support their children’s nutritional needs and help build positive relationships with food from an early age. I see food as a powerful tool for growth, development and confidence, and I focus on practical, family-friendly strategies that fit naturally into everyday life.
