About me
We live in a brain and body that evolved to thrive in vastly different circumstances to the ones we now find ourselves in! So, when we find ourselves living with overweight, or engaging in eating and sedentary habits that don't serve us, it's clearly not our fault... And yet, it is our responsibility to look after our brain and body because they're the only place we have to live.
My compassionate nutrition approach breaks free of unhelpful dichotomies about food choice movement habits and behaviour, and stimulates positive progression towards achieving your lifestyle goals with clarity of thought and kindness towards oneself to make meaningful change.
With 15 years of experience as a Registered Nutritionist, I provide a supportive, online space to help you achieve the healthy habits you want with a method of self-motivation through kindness.
My practice blends evidence-based nutritional science with a compassionate, non-directive coaching style: I am AfN Registered Nutritionist who is also a Level 5 qualified Professional Coach, and Balanced Minds trained facilitator of Compassionate Mind Training course.
We will start where you are now and forge a path to where you want to be by utilising proven behaviour change techniques to increase self-efficacy, overwriting old patterns of thought and behaviour which no longer serve you, and learn to befriend your inner critic.
We will work collaboratively to build self-awareness, enabling you to implement practical, sustainable routines that boost both your emotional and physical well-being.
Compassionate Nutrition reflects my belief that lasting change happens when people feel understood, respected, and supported.
