Specialist Children's Dietitian BSc(Hons) MSc RD (online)

About me

I’m Carole, a Specialist Children’s Dietitian with over 30 years of experience in nutrition and dietetics, including 18 years working as a paediatric dietitian in the NHS.

If you’re worried about your child’s eating, whether they’re a fussy eater, struggling to grow, dealing with allergies, or you’re just not sure if they’re getting what they need, I’m here to help.

I know how overwhelming it can feel to navigate the conflicting advice online, and how exhausting it is when mealtimes aren’t going well. My goal is to offer you clear, practical guidance that is tailored to your child and your family life.

One of my particular areas of expertise is fussy and picky eating. Having worked with families in this area for many years, and as a parent myself, I understand how isolating it can feel when your child’s eating is affecting the whole family. My approach is gentle and completely pressure-free, for your child and for you.

I support children from infancy through to adolescence with a wide range of concerns, including:

Fussy and picky eating

•         Limited diets and food refusal

•         ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder)

•         Fussy/picky eating linked to ADHD or autism

Infant and toddler feeding

•         Weaning and introducing solids

•         Feeding difficulties in infancy

Digestive and gut health

•         Reflux, constipation, diarrhoea and IBS

Allergies and intolerances

•         Food allergies including cow’s milk protein allergy

•         Multiple food allergies and intolerances

Nutrition, growth and development

•         Growth concerns and faltering growth

•         Nutritional deficiencies

•         Vegetarian and vegan diets for children

•         Sports nutrition for young athletes

•         Healthy eating and balanced nutrition

My approach is always child-centred. I take time to understand your child’s health, development, appetite, and your family’s routines and I create realistic plans that actually fit your life.

All consultations are delivered remotely via video call, so you can access specialist support from the comfort of home, wherever you are in the UK.

If you’d like personalised nutrition support for your child, I’d be delighted to help.
