About me
About Me
I am a registered Nutritional Therapist with a special interest in gut health and digestion, and a particular passion for supporting women through midlife and beyond. I’m based in St Albans, working with clients both in person and online.
I use a functional nutrition approach alongside lifestyle strategies and practical, realistic support to help you:
- calm digestive symptoms and restore gut balance
- manage discomfort and food sensitivities with confidence
- support hormonal changes naturally and alongside HRT
- improve sleep, mood and energy levels
- manage weight in a sustainable, non-restrictive way
- feel more comfortable, confident and in control of your body again
Living with digestive symptoms can be exhausting and frustrating, especially when they start to affect everyday life, confidence and enjoyment of food. Add in the hormonal shifts of midlife and it can feel overwhelming and difficult to know where to begin — particularly with so much conflicting health advice available. This is where working with a qualified practitioner can make all the difference.
I love supporting women to improve their gut health and overall wellbeing through meaningful, effective and manageable changes to diet and lifestyle — without extremes, restriction or judgement.
My approach is:
Evidence-based – grounded in nutritional science and clinical research
Holistic – considering your whole picture, including health history, hormones, stress and lifestyle
Personalised – no generic plans; everything is tailored to you and your symptoms
Practical – achievable steps that fit into real life
Supportive – gentle accountability, guidance and encouragement every step of the way
What my clients say:
'Amy is a brilliant Nutritional Therapist, she is knowledgeable, thorough, empathetic and kind whilst being gently encouraging. When I first visited Amy I had gut issues and I wasn't sure where to turn, I felt like I had exhausted every avenue. Amy listened, didn't judge and helped me to create a sound nutritional plan. With her guidance and advice I now have a happy stomach and healthier outlook on eating.' Kelly T.
