Vestaen Balbuena Naturopathic Nutritionist: dipCNM, BSc Biomedical Sciences
I am aware of the need for realistic personalised nutritional and lifestyle plans to better one's sense of wellbeing.
Some people live their healthiest life by going to yoga everyday and drinking smoothies, whilst others are able to live healthily sleeping late and having more coffees. Ultimately, health is an individual accumulated response to your environment, stress factors, metabolic type and more.
I have personally seen the lightbulb moment in people's lives when they've understood their unique approach to nutrition and lifestyle habits. Once you know what you require, you can then learn to fine tune details to manage moments of stress, fatigue etc.
Food, nutrition and life habits are some of the most personal and emotionally charged things to change in someone's life. My approach when there's a need to make any drastic changes is through educating the client and making sure everything is thoroughly explained.
My role as your nutritional therapist is to work with your presenting symptoms and dive into the root cause of your imbalance. As a therapist, I don't treat the disease, I treat the person. And even so, I believe I'm not even treating, just restoring health or homeostasis.
Prevention + early detection of imbalances + lifestyle changes
= an immensely powerful strategy, with you in control
We will work together towards your goals, whilst slowly educating you on how to maintain these new lifetime habits. My approach is to create a tailored holistic plan for you that will inspire you to change the way you eat long-term. I may also recommend you take therapeutic supplements or undertake diagnostic testing to assess the root causes of your health concerns.
So, are you ready to begin your journey into a vibrant, healthier and refreshed version of yourself? Don't wait for new years to feel like a new you.

Vestaen is particularly interested in supporting clients by looking into mitochondrial health; weight management; nervous system imbalances; adrenal health and fatigue; skin issues and digestive health. She has a unique approach in linking emotion and the power of the mind, to the psychosomatic reflection in the body (illness, chronic disease, acute symptoms). This is where she brings her experience in Naturopathy and Biomedicine into action within her bespoke holistic and individualised Nutritional Plans.
Overall, Vestaen will never diagnose as it is not her duty but will always do initial research on any condition before seeing the client for utmost professionalism and preparation, as all cases are individual and never the same.

All consultations and appointments can be done in person in London, or through Skype:
Initial Consultation - 90 minutes - £100
During the Initial Consultation, an in-depth questionnaire will be completed via conversation and subsequently, an individualised nutritional and lifestyle plan will be produced. If required, further detail and breakdown of the plan will be emailed up to two days after the consultation.
Follow Up Consultation - 60 minutes - £70
Follow-ups take place 2-4 weeks after the initial consultation. During this consultation, any new symptoms, improvements and challenges will be taken into consideration. The nutritional and lifestyle plan will then be updated. Overall, clients usually only need 2-3 follow ups, depending on their needs.
Get to know Vestaen Balbuena, Naturopathic Nutritionist and Biomedical Scientist
Vestaen (pronounced Ves-tah-ehn) grew up between Madrid and London. Influenced by her mother's work as a therapist for over 20 years, she had been drawn to helping others and was naturally asked for advice.
During her gap year, she realised her calling for understanding the human body through science and joined Brunel University with her unconditional offer. Initially only interested in Biomedicine, she decided to join another course alongside her full-time degree- Naturopathic Nutrition at CNM London. She has since graduated from both 3 year degrees at the same time. The combination of these degrees has provided Vestaen with a deeper insight and science-based approach to wellbeing and nutrition.
Her founding tenet is that one's ability to live their most vibrant life is in their hands. With her duty being to educate and provide the necessary support to build you up.
Since graduating, she has seen the need for client's to be heard and understood with whichever condition they'd like support with. She feels that the ability to have more time to converse and dig deep into the body's wellbeing and health is what makes the positive difference and provides encouragement.
