As a result of growing up with a typical western diet, by her mid teens Caroline suffered with various health issues herself. Being given no meaningful solutions from conventional medicine, she turned to natural therapies and visited a nutritional therapist for the first time. Everything about the way her body was functioning was explained to her in a way that made complete sense, as well as why her current diet and nutritional deficiencies were driving her health issues in the wrong direction. Through some simple guidance and education about how to eat best for her body and her needs her health issues resolved within a short few months.
Throughout her twenties, if any health imbalances cropped up, her nutritional therapist was her first port of call, and each experience cemented her trust in the power of good nutrition for maintaining optimal health.
Her passion and faith in personalised nutrition led her to retrain herself in this industry. She completed 3 years training at The College of Naturopathic Medicine and is now dedicated to giving others informed and qualified guidance and personalised advice on how to sustain optimal health alongside the work and lifestyle demands of the 21st century. Since her initial training Caroline has also done specialist training in fertility nutrition, NeuroLinguistic Programming/health coaching and she is currently making her way through the certification programme to become a verified practitioner within the globally acclaimed Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM).
In a typical consultation within one of her packages, Caroline listens to your main concerns and reviews your symptoms, diet, health history, family medical history, medications and/or other previous treatments. She then investigates how your various body systems and organs are functioning. Imbalances are then identified and the aim is to then work from the inside out, through natural foods, to address the real root cause of the problem. A personalised plan is then devised for you including food charts, recipes, supplement (if any) instructions, functional testing referrals (if applicable) and finally any exercise/lifestyle suggestion that may complement your plan.
At each follow up appointment, your symptoms are reviewed and your plan is tailored in line with your progress until you have reached your health and well-being goals.
All nutrition plans are formed on evidence based knowledge and research. All information taken during consultations is completely confidential.
