About me

Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? Are you seeking symptom relief? Well you’ve come to the right place!

This is where your journey to OPTIMUM HEALTH starts!! Whether it is symptom relief, weight loss, help with identifying food intolerances or you are looking to achieve optimum health, you will get expert advice and support from a Registered Dietitian. Specialising in a range of digestive problems including, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Small intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) and Food Intolerances.

A bit about me...

I am a HCPC registered dietitian (BSC Hons Dietetics and nutrition). This means I use the most up-to-date, scientific evidence through my practice and adhere to a code of conduct and am governed by a professional body (HCPC).

I have a huge passion for all things food and health and promoting wellness! My aim is to support you through your journey to achieving OPTIMUM health and getting you the best health possible and achieving your BEST results!

Why start with digestive health?

Our digestive tract is probably the most undervalued organ in our bodies? This wonderful organ is responsible for regulating almost all of our vital bodily functions. For example, regulating up to 90% of the immune system, fighting off infection, absorbing vitamins and minerals nourishing our body, removing toxins and the regulation and production of hormones such as serotonin – also known as the happy hormone! So in short, your gut is responsible for how you feel and how you feel can influence your digestive health!

What can I expect from seeing a dietitian?

Firstly, I start by gathering essential information in order to build your personalised health profile. This allows me to get an idea of where you are in your journey and enables me to support you and get you on your way to better health. You will be sent a 3 day food and symptom diary prior to your first consultation. This enables me to get a good idea of your symptoms and relation to food and also enables you to tell me about your symptoms in great detail. I will monitor and review your progress at regular intervals to ensure you reach your goals!

Every person is different, so nutritional care plans are tailored to meet the needs of the individual and can be reviewed and tweaked during each stage.

There may be instances where further tests and investigations may need to be carried out, for example, diagnostic tests via your Doctor if not already completed. This ensures that your nutritional plan suits your needs and get you the results you want!

Please feel free to get in touch via email or phone with any queries and we will get back to you as soon as possible. If you could highlight your key areas of concern and health goals when enquiring, to allow nutritional support to be directed towards your needs.

Note* Areas covered are not limited to Worcester. .

I can travel to locations outside of the West Midlands if required (additional mileage cost please see fees). This option also includes the assessment at home or in an office based environment in the nearest available office space using my multi city pass for Regus offices.

Additionally, I offer assessments and reviews via a Video/Skype/TeleHealth call, Telephone or Email. Please feel free to enquire about options that suit you by sending your queries via the ‘email me’ tab.

Training, qualifications & experience

I work both within the NHS and freelance. I have extensive experience in providing personalised and evidenced based advice to clients with a variety of conditions including:

  • Coeliac disease
  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
  • Food allergies and intolerances
  • Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO)
  • Hydrogen Breath Testing
  • low FODMAP diet
  • Weight management
  • Bespoke Nutritional Plans: Paleo, Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten-Free, Wheat/Dairy-Free, Histamine-Free.

I have completed a specialist training course at King’s College University London, focusing on the specific use of the low FODMAP diet to manage and improve symptoms in people with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). The Low FODMAP diet has been proven to improve symptoms and quality of life in up to 80% of clients with moderate to severe IBS. However, this may not work for every individual, therefore a tailored plan following an initial consultation may require personalisation to meet individual needs and requirements.

I have also studied and completed additional subjects including:

-The low FODMAP diet in the treatment of IBS
-Vegetarian and Vegan Nutritionist Diploma (Centre of Excellence)
-Holistic Health and Wellness Coaching Program
-Weight-Loss Coach and Counselling program
-Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in Nutrition Counselling

- Allergies and Food Intolerances
