About me

Over the years of working with many clients I have found that being "on a diet" is probably the worst thing you can do to lose weight and yet so many of us do it.  It's tiring being on that constant roller-coaster of weight loss and gain.  Well, it's time to get off!  I use coaching to support you to change your eating and lifestyle habits so that you can eat what you want without feeling guilty or deprived.  Weight management is achieved through sound nutritional principles not fad diets.  I am also a fitness instructor and provide Sports Nutrition advice to support a healthy balance between exercise and food.

I focus on working with women who are so busy juggling families, careers and a hundred other daily tasks that their own health and wellbeing comes at the bottom of the list.  If you've had enough of feeling exhausted, being out of shape and not looking your best - help is at hand.

What to expect at a consultation-

You will be asked to complete a nutritional questionnaire which includes information about your medical history and a 3-day food diary.

During the consultation -

The consultation, which usually lasts for 1 1/2 hours, discusses in greater depth the information given in your questionnaire and clarifies your health goals. We usually work together over a number of sessions so that change can be gradual but long term and fit with your personal circumstances. At the end of each session you will take away agreed food and lifestyle actions which are personal to you.

You don't need to be suffering from any health problems to have an appointment with me. A Nutritional Evaluation recommends dietary and lifestyle changes which could optimise your health and well-being.  This may be for you if you want to review your eating habits and wish to stay healthy in the future.

As a commitment to keep my knowledge up to date I regularly attend additional training events covering a variety of nutrition topics.
