About me

Hi, I am Sue.

I have been a Nutrition Therapist since May 2019.

I support women over 40 to design a happy, healthy and fulfilling life so they can make the most of their postmenopause years.

Do you find it more and more difficult to juggle all the balls of your life?

You have home, family, and work (possibly a side hustle of some kind) responsibilities along with ageing parents and the kids seem to become more time-consuming as they get older, not less!

You feel frazzled and overwhelmed when you used to take everything in your stride.  Negative feelings increase for no apparent reason and rage turns into tears and back again in a split second.

Perhaps you look in the mirror and no longer recognise the woman staring back at you.

Where has her spark gone?

Where is that zest for life?

These are common situations many of my clients describe.  They also complain of niggling pains, burning, brain fog, general discomfort, dryness, allergies and so much more only joining the dots when we first chat.

Work with me and discover the SHIFT System to finally take control of your symptoms and regain your zest for life without;

  • Restrictive dieting
  • Complicated nutrition plans
  • Counting/measuring/weighing
  • Excessive exercise programs

What you will learn is;

  • How to find satisfaction in every meal.
  • Which foods will support you to achieve your goals.
  • What your symptoms are telling you.
  • How to alleviate these symptoms.
  • How to design a plan aligned with how YOU want to live.

WHAT IS HOLISTIC NUTRITIONAL THERAPY?

Your current healthy lifestyle might be causing you more harm than good, this is especially true if you are not seeing the results you want for all your hard work.

Holistic nutritional therapy looks at YOU as a whole and helps you to understand how your body works, the cycles it goes through, especially once you are over 40, and how you can work with these rather than against them to create alignment which will allow you to create a life of optimal health and well-being.

HOW DO I WORK?

My service is online via Zoom video calls.

I offer services from Personalised Meal Planning right up to 10-week programs.

WHO DO I HELP?

I help women who are fed up with putting up with pain, stubborn weight, lack of sleep and mental health issues such as brain fog, low mood, forgetfulness and loss of self-esteem along with the myriad of other symptoms that leave you not feeling YOU!

By nourishing rather than punishing your body you can create hormone harmony, heal your metabolism and reclaim your body.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am qualified in Nutrition and Weight Management along with Nutrition for Sports and Exercise, Pre and Post-Natal Nutrition and Childhood Nutrition and Obesity Prevention.

I have also taken additional training in Applying Intuitive Eating and Non-diet approaches in practice along with a Moon Magic diploma in order to understand cyclical living and working with our body and the environment rather than against it.

I have a practitioner's diploma in menopause well-being and keep up to date with the latest methods and medications to support the menopause transition. I am also peri-menopausal myself!

I am currently studying for an Ayurveda Diploma to continue my learning of supporting the body to be healthy naturally.

As a working mum over 45, I understand the difficulties faced in juggling the responsibilities of a family whether that is in your home or supporting elderly relatives, along with managing your own home and a career as well as trying to find time to make good health a priority.

Before qualifying as a Holistic Nutritional Therapist in May 2019, I was a childminder for 15 years therefore I have a great deal of experience to draw from in juggling family and business and supporting many types of families.

TESTIMONIALS

I took part in a meno solution session with Sue. This was amazing.  I was instantly at ease and able to discuss and relate to all things perimenopausal.   Sue had vast knowledge of meno symptoms and solutions for them. I really needed more information and help with naturally equipping myself through diet and nutrition.  This is now beneficial to helping me and I have seen an increase in energy along with control of my GERD.  Thank you!!! I thoroughly recommend using Sue for her meno solution sessions 100% - Claire

Sue opened my eyes to how I can manage to remain positive and healthy through and after meno. She helped me understand how to track moon cycles to manage my moods, how to set goals and affirmations to work towards and also how to really think about how I can add more protein to my diet. I found Sue to be friendly and approachable as well as a great listener. After our sessions, I always felt positive and energised. Ana

Highly recommend the online membership, having been a member since July 2022! Sue Wappett's knowledge and support have been invaluable. Although the focus is on nutrition the hub provides an holistic lifestyle approach. Regular group catch-ups also provide additional support and accountability in helping me achieve my own goals, which include reducing daytime snacking, increasing movement and gaining c*nfidence! - Nikki

KEELEY - Would thoroughly recommend one of Sue, I thought I had a pretty good diet and lifestyle, but my session with Sue made me realise I needed more calories and protein in my diet. Having made the changes she suggested I have been more full and less inclined to snack resulting in 1.8lb weight loss this week. Sue also recommended some supplements relevant to my lifestyle - well worth a one-off payment to get you on the right track! Thanks, Sue 🥰🥰 x

ZOE - I met with Sue today, she was so lovely & informative. Her knowledge was fab I picked up so much to put into use straight away.

KATE - Sue was very knowledgeable in advising me about my diet and I will take on board the advice she gave me. I highly recommend her as a nutrition therapist!

JAYMIE - Sue gave me so much amazing advice while I was struggling to fuel my marathon training. She was there for guidance just at the right time to break my exhausting rut. Such an amazing feeling when I was able to clock up the miles again. Highly recommend.
