I am a Registered Nutritional Therapist, a full member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). I practise evidence based nutritional therapy with a functional medicine approach. In addition, I am a licensed Metabolic Balance® coach.
Prior to training as a Nutritional Therapist, I graduated from Birkbeck College, University of London, with degrees in history and biological sciences. A love of cooking and an interest in science led me to nutritional therapy, and further qualification at The Institute for Optimum Nutrition. Many years of working in the finance industry in the City of London have given me an understanding of the pressures that exist both within the corporate world and our busy lives.
In order to keep up to date with research in nutrition and science, I attend lectures, seminars and conferences on a regular basis. I use the Functional Medicine model, and at present I am undertaking further training with the Institute of Functional Medicine.
I believe that a good diet and balanced lifestyle is the key to good health, and welcome the opportunity to share my knowledge with you.
