About me

I am a qualified Nutritional Therapist and full member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists, working from complementary health centres in Brecon and Crickhowell. I also offer Skype and telephone consultations if you live too far from any of these locations.

Diet can have a positive impact on our physical and mental well being as well as energy levels. Diet can also have a negative effect on our health. Exactly which foods to eat or avoid can vary as each individual has unique requirements for optimal nutrition based on age, gender and health background.

I am trained to work on both male and female diet related issues. If you have any of the diet related conditions identified below or would like to ensure your diet contains enough of the right nutrients for good dietary health, please email or phone me for an initial discussion.

I offer one to one and small group consultations. Advice is based on the latest scientific evidence and is personalised in a practical way to support immediate and long term results.

As well as addressing any specific diet related health concerns, you will see how to achieve a properly balanced diet that is both manageable and affordable. You will also see how meal planning and grocery shopping become more interesting when armed with lots of choice.

One to one consultations require completion of a questionnaire prior to meeting to assess your health and existing diet. You will receive a personalised plan for your diet specific to you and your individual requirements.

Laboratory testing and supplement advice is available if necessary. Food intolerance testing is also available.

Personalised 12 Week Weight Loss Programme

If you need one-to-one support to lose weight, join the Nourishing Times 12 week weight loss programme for long term change.

12 Weeks To A Lighter You! is a programme designed to make your regular food choices healthier and balanced, leading to both weight loss and a feeling of overall well being.

Based on widely researched evidence about the benefits of a balanced diet, the programme starts with an assessment of your current diet and a summary of the foods and portions that need to be adapted. Then, over the course of 12 weeks, we make the changes in a structured way to suit you and your lifestyle.

Meal ideas, meal plans, guidance with grocery shopping, introduction to new foods and alternatives to common "downfall foods" will encourage weight reduction at a stable pace.

Progress is recorded in a 12 Week Work Book so that you can see how your weekly dietary pattern and weight is changing.

The fee for the programme is £150 which includes three one to one consultations, a 12 Week Work Book as well as weekly email or telephone contact.

If you would like to make your long term diet healthier and lose weight but still enjoy life's simple pleasures, call on 07584 417654 or email
