About me

Hi, I'm Sally from VivaVitae Nutrition and I’m keen to motivate and inspire you towards reaching your personal health and wellbeing goals, with advice that is tailored, targeted - and achievable, too. So whether you'd like to feel more energised, sleep more soundly, tackle those chronic ‘niggles’ that just won't shift, or would like to find out how to start eating your way to a optimal health, a nutritional programme that’s designed just for you - and underpinned by the latest science - could be just what you need.

How can nutritional advice help?

As a registered Nutritional Therapist, I aim to identify then focus on potential imbalances within your body's systems (rather than simply addressing the symptoms you may be experiencing as a result of these imbalances). These imbalances can result in our bodies working less efficiently, which can leave you feeling sluggish and out of sorts, generally demotivated, exhausted and unable to sleep or piling on the pounds. If this sounds like you, I'm here to help!

Getting started

Contact me for a free 15 minute phone call and we can have a chat about your health goals and how I can help you to meet them.

By taking a comprehensive overview of your health to date, and identifying the wellbeing goals you’d like to work towards, I can then create a personalised dietary programme. Because this is tailored completely towards you, taking your lifestyle, food preferences, budget and wellbeing goals into account, the meal plans and snack ideas I'll suggest for you are designed to be speedy and sustainable - as well as delicious!

One to one consultations are available from my home clinic, or I can travel to you.  I can also work with you via Skype or FaceTime if you are based further afield or if that is more convenient.

Optional functional testing and test interpretation as well as supplement recommendations and lifestyle advice are also available. In many cases, this can help you to work your way towards achieving optimal wellness and vitality faster, by helping to identify then starting to rectify 'less than perfect' nutritional status using changes to diet and lifestyle, as well as healing foods and supplements.

I have worked with clients of all ages and stages, helping them to attain optimal health and wellbeing, by focusing on what is important to them. Whether it's school children or teenagers, busy working parents, time-poor career women and men, athletes looking to achieve peak performance or elderly clients keen to nourish themselves well as they age – everyone can benefit from the power of food and nutrition.

As a Home Economist, I can support you with recipe ideas and meal suggestions that are fast, taste delicious and are easy to incorporate into your lifestyle - to help kickstart a way of eating that could lead to a more energised, more revitalised you! I'm also a certified Metabolic Balance® coach - this individualised programme is based on your biochemistry and can be helpful for clients looking to lose weight or balance their hormones (no calorie counting required).

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained as a Nutritional Therapist at the Institute of Optimum Nutrition, being awarded the DipION Nutritional Therapy diploma. As a registered Nutritional Therapist, I am also a member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) as well as the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) regulatory body. A degree-educated Home Economist, I was awarded the BA in Home Economics with distinction at Queen Margaret College, Edinburgh, with final degree specialisation in Food Studies. I am also a certified Metabolic Balance ® coach.

        I offer a free, initial 'find out more' 15 minute phone call where we can discuss your goals.

        For a more personalised approach, why not try a one to one nutrition package, designed with just you in mind, to help with whatever areas you would like to work towards? Opt for a one-off 90-minute session costing £85 (which can then be put towards the cost of a package), or choose from 30, 60 or 90 day packages starting from £99 where you will be fully supported throughout the time of your package, with 'mini consultations' via phone or email between appointments, and access to resources to help you on your wellness journey.

        Cookery workshops

        I also offer personalised shopping and cookery experiences for individuals in addition to giving wellbeing talks and plant-based cookery workshops to groups. If your family is stuck in an 'eating rut', I can help by providing menu plans and ideas that are packed with nutrition as well as taking everyone's likes and dislikes into consideration!

        Phone and online support is available between appointments as part of the packages I offer.
