About me

Having suffered for years with on-going health problems, and having discovered ways to alleviate my symptoms I decided to put my knowledge into practice in order to help others experiencing similar issues.

I spent three years training to become a Nutritional Therapist with CNM the College of Naturopathic Medicine. CNM is the UK's largest training provider of a range of natural therapies. Their naturopathic approach to wellness looks at the whole person rather than at a collection of symptoms.

I specialise in the bowel, since the bowel is where all disease orginates. Correct the bowel, correct the illness. I use a range of diagnostic tests, to check for food intolerances, hormone imbalances, gut dysbiosis, yeast overgrowth, thyroid and adrenal function. If any organ is out of balance it can have a knock on effect for the whole body. The main areas I focus on are:

1. Colon health
2. Fatigue conditions
4. Skin conditions
5. Chrohns
6. Ulcerative Colitis
7. Hypothyroid Disease
8. Bloating

I have an extraordinary passion for nutrition, but fully appreciate that not everyone does, so it can be difficult  to make nutritional changes even though we know they're in our best interest. With that in mind I treat each client individually, taking some clients through to good health with tiny baby steps whilst others integrating huge changes from the outset. It really does all depend on each individual and what the client is happy to do. Making some small changes is much better than not making any at all, and often these small changes can have a profound healing effect on the body. To be effective, healing must be individualised to the person, taking into consideration their personality, health status, insights, beliefs, past experiences and circumstances.

As a nutrional therapist I'm trained to work alongside general practitioners and other professional practitioners to provide an integrated approach to health care.

I offer one on one consultations as well as group talks and workshops in the workplace.

I've also trained as a Colon Therapist, with the well renowned Chi Centre for Practical Detoxification, governed by RICTAT, the International Register of Integrative Colonic Therapists and Trainers and approved by G-PACT, Global Professional Association for Colon Therapists; I-ACT, International Association for Colon Hydrotherapy and CMA, Complementary Medical Association.

As colon hydro therapists we believe that achieving and maintaining the optimal bowel function is inseparable from emotional and mental health. We integrate colon hydrotherapy with other healing modalities in the best interest of our clients and patients, through our referral network of experienced practitioners.
