Dr Ros Miller (RNutr, PhD, MSc, BSc)
Friendly evidence-based nutrition advice in Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire (and country-wide via Skype). I have a real passion for nutrition, helping people make healthy lifestyle choices and to separate fact from fiction.
I offer tips and advice which are backed by good scientific evidence - no fad diets, powders or wacky ingredients here! Being a mum of two young children, I know how hard it can be to make sure you are providing yourself and your family with a healthy, balanced diet. There is so much information out there it is hard to know what to do for the best. With me, you'll get honest, practical advice you can trust. My expertise covers adults and children, young and old.
I offer 1-2-1 consultations as well as group workshops and talks on a variety of topics (e.g. plant-based diets, weaning your baby, feeding the family, fussy eating and healthy ageing).
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a strong background in Nutrition with an Masters degree (MSc) and Doctorate (PhD) in Nutrition from The University of Reading. I have 10 years experience working in the field and I am fully registered with the Association for Nutrition.
The Association of Nutrition (AfN) is the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists (UKVRN), a register of competent, qualified nutrition professionals who meet rigorously applied standards for scientifically sound evidence-based nutrition and its use in practice. The UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists is the only register of qualified nutritionists recognised by Public Health England, NHS Choices and NHS Careers.
I have previously worked at the British Nutrition Foundation, providing evidence-based nutrition advice to consumers, food industry and the media.
