I’m Rachel, a nutritionist based in Derby, UK.
Why did I become a nutritionist?
I was a police officer, working long hours and feeling constantly stressed and tired.
I loved my job, I Ioved helping people, but after some life-changing events I knew I needed to take some time out. It was only when I stopped, that I realised just how my hectic lifestyle was harming my health.
My diet was poor, I wasn't exercising and I felt exhausted.
I knew something had to change.
My love of food, nutrition and exercise led me to change my career path to become a nutritionist. Because of my experiences, I understand the importance of good nutrition for overall wellbeing, both physically and mentally.
This is why I'm passionate about helping people like you become your healthiest and happiest selves.
How can I help you?
I use a compassionate, supportive approach to help free you from the misery of yo-yo dieting.
- Tried all the diet plans out there
- Losing weight at the start but then finding yourself hungry and confused about what you should or shouldn’t be eating
- Become fed up of not being able to enjoy meal times, especially eating out with family and friends ?
- Felt unhappy and then ‘fallen off the wagon’?
- And then feel guilty, you’ve put the weight back, so start looking for the next miracle diet?
This cycle is exhausting. It takes up far too much of your time and energy and you feel terrible.
And I’ve been there with you. The Weight Watchers, the GI diet, My Fitness Pal tracking and intermittent fasting. I’ve punished myself at the gym to ‘work off’ or ‘give myself’ the calories to eat ‘cheat foods’.
But what if I told you there’s a different way....
A way that means:
- You can stop worrying about what you should be eating.
- Stop feeling guilty about eating the food you love.
- You CAN transform your relationship with food and your body and change your life !
One size does not fit all when it comes to nutrition, so I'm here to help you achieve what healthy means to you.
I help you feel good about yourself, repair your relationship with food and your body, to become happier and healthier without focusing on the scales. If you're looking to make a change, I will help you with simple advice that is tailored to YOU to help you find your own healthy.
