About me
Hi, my name is Pala and I help women women aged 35-55 who struggle to do an easy poop every day.
I have created a signature method called "Blissful Bowels' that takes a 6 step approach using a combination of functional medicine labs, personalised whole-food nutrition protocols and Eastern mind-body practices so that you can live full and energetic lives without bloating, pain, feeling backed-up or stuck and being in an endless cycle of laxatives.
In my first career, I spent 20 years working in investment banking. My life was on a repeat cycle of chronic stress (sitting at a desk, sitting in meetings, staring at a screen, eating at my desk, eating in meetings, eating while staring at a screen, sometimes forgetting to breathe, holding off going to the loo because I was in a meeting) and trying to raise a young child and be the best parent I could be. I loved it! But it did take it's toll on my health. Something had to give.
I was surviving, not thriving and thought to myself 'There has to be a better way to live!'.
And so, I embarked on a three-year diploma in nutrition at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) which gave me a solid foundation in evidence-based nutrition science as well as an understanding that good nutrition is only part of the journey to deep health.
Sleep, time in nature, meditation and breathing, daily movement and social connection are all essential elements of deep health and I gently nudge my clients towards developing these other areas of their lives so that they too can experience the incredible levels of energy, clarity and focus that comes from nourishing their bodies and living a life of wellness.
GETTING STARTED
If this approach appeals to you, the first step is to book a free 30 minute online consultation with me visit https://palanutrition.com/work-with-me/
TAKING IMMEDIATE ACTION - In this short online Zoom session we will get straight to your the biggest struggle you are facing at the moment and start to think about small changes you make immediately that will get you on the right path. This is a great opportunity for you to understand how I work and whether I am the right nutrition therapist for you.
GOING DEEP - Over the course of 3 months we will meet 1:1 at least six times on Zoom. In these sessions, we will explore your health in depth through a monthly deep dive into your history and symptoms. Because I work online we can do this at a time that suits you, fitting into your busy schedule. After each deep dive consultation session there is a health plan review session where I will present your new protocol to you and we can discuss how you can incorporate these baby-steps into your life.
ACCOUNTABILITY - Each week we will catch up through an online check-in form. This helps me to check-in with you and make sure the changes I have given you are realistic and effective and it will keep you accountable so that you can get the most out of your protocol by being consistent. This also gives you the opportunity to ask me questions and feel supported.

CLIENT COMMENTS
"The main problem I was having was difficulty with bowel movements. I also appeared to have some intolerances to certain foods and needed to identify them.
Pala’s enthusiasm and conscientious attention to detail really impressed and carried me. In this way she helped me stay focussed and committed to the whole process. She was entirely without judgement when at times I failed to stick to her prescriptions or had a dietary indiscretion!
Increasing my bowel movements was without doubt the biggest win!
Everyone could benefit from sessions with Pala! Diet is absolutely central to health and Pala’s knowledge and conscientious professional approach make her practice exceptional." T.M.
"I approached Pala for her help With a niggling but disruptive skin irritation that would not go away. I had tried prescribed skin creams which provided temporary relief but the problem always came back, Pala was very thorough in her research and throughout the consultation. She took the time to investigate all elements of my particular and general health and medical history. After providing me with a nutritional programme to relieve the issue I felt the benefits of the programme in my general health as well as an improvement in the skin irritation. Pala has followed up with my progress and supported me throughout."

My husband and I have been on a fertility journey for 2.5 years. We were heading towards IVF when I started working with Pala. We worked on what foods I should include in my diet and what not. I think Pala's advice on what vitamins I should take was invaluable.
Pala took time to really understand our lifestyle and made sure the eating plan was do-able for us. If something didn't work, Pala made amendments and was also around to offer support. Well, I'm 14 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby. We couldn’t be happier, thank you Pala x. N.D.
“Pala has the gift of presenting her wealth of nutritional knowledge in small, digestible chunks. She really took the time to understand the changes I was willing to make, and adjusted my diet in a manageable, sustainable way. The regular check ins were a great tool for keeping me on track, and also for adding additional changes as and when I was ready to take them on board. Her methods feel like elicious additions rather than restrictions, and it has changed the way I approach every meal. My energy and skin have hugely improved, I feel continually supported and encouraged, and would recommend Pala to anyone who is looking to improve their health”. Kirstie, UK.
