About me
Are you ready to eat without the stress and finally enjoy food again?
Hi, I’m Nokhuthula Nyoni, registered Dietitian Nutritionist, and I know how overwhelming and confusing nutrition can feel. My goal is to help you break free from dieting stress and create a balanced, enjoyable relationship with food; through personalised nutrition and evidence-based guidance.
Whether you’re looking for weight loss, to help manage a medical condition like Diabetes, IBS, cancer etc, boost your energy, improve your everyday nutrition or simply feel better in your own body; I provide practical, sustainable strategies that work with your lifestyle - not against it.
As an experienced Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, I specialise in:
- Cancer Nutrition: Supporting you from the point of diagnosis, during cancer treatment and after treatment.
- Weight Management: Learn how to create a balanced, healthy relationship with food, lose weight sustainably and maintain your results.
- Gastrointestinal disorders: Address issues like bloating, IBS, IBD and other digestive discomforts with targeted nutrition strategies.
- Pancreatic disorders: Managing a pancreatic disorder can be challenging, but the right nutrition plays a crucial role in supporting your recovery and overall well-being. Whether you're dealing with chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer, I can help.
- Healthy eating for busy lives: Get quick, nutritious meal ideas and simple tips to make healthy eating fit into your busy schedule.
Why Work With Me?
I take a holistic approach to nutrition, focusing on your overall well-being and long-term health, not just short-term fixes. I understand how overwhelming it can be to navigate all the conflicting advice out there, and I’m here to provide you with clarity, support, and practical solutions that fit your needs.
With a background in the NHS hospitals, community, and private practice, I’ve worked with individuals, groups, GPs, and other healthcare professionals and specialise in turning complex nutrition advice into simple, everyday steps that fit your lifestyle. I continue to work in the NHS alongside private practice and also work for the World Cancer Research Fund Nutrition helpline providing specialist cancer nutrition support advice.
My Approach:
Building a relationship, not just a transaction: A successful dietitian-client relationship is built on trust and ongoing support. Communication will be consistent, we will regularly celebrate your wins and I'll support you overcome the challenges. You are not alone in this journey.
Personalised nutrition support: Nutrition is personal so we will create actionable steps based on your goals, preferences, and lifestyle.
Ongoing support: I offer continuous guidance, whether you need help with food choices, motivation, or navigating challenges.
Clear communication, education and empowerment: I want you to understand the "why" behind your nutrition plan, so you can make informed decisions and feel empowered to be able to manage your nutrition independently.
