Naomi Oxberry, MNutr, MSc, Registered Dietitian And Nutritionist
31 Bridge Street
Dietitians are qualified, state registered and regulated health care professionals that assess, diagnose and treat nutritional problems.
Naomi is an experienced dietitian who splits her time between dietetics within NHS hospitals and private work.
Within the hospital setting she has seen adults and children for the dietary treatment and management of disease.
This could be for weight management, heart health, cholesterol management, chronic kidney disease, coeliac disease, pancreatic disease, diabetes, enteral feeding, osteoporosis and fertility.
After working in various tertiary children’s hospitals, including Birmingham, Bristol and Great Ormond Street. She has experience working with children with allergies, faltering growth and fussy eating.
She has also recently been awarded the advanced certificate in dietary management of IBS and the use of the FODMAP diet run by Kings College London. She is therefore qualified to successfully and safely deliver the low FODMAP diet for optimal efficacy. She is currently the only dietitian in the Taunton area within private practice that has this.
Additionally, Naomi has also worked within industry, as she has a masters in Public Health Nutrition from the London School of Tropical Medicine. This gives her the basis to work on projects that need a dietetic mindset alongside skills in developing projects, conducting research and writing literature.
How ever big or small your query is, contact Naomi for up to date, evidence-based, professional advice.
