I offer a friendly, practical and supportive approach to Nutritional Therapy. I ensure that recommendations are tailored to support you personally, it is by working with our own unique circumstances that we can find health.
I am a Functional Medicine Practitioner which means that I apply nutrition, and health science to target the root of health issues, instead of simply alleviating symptoms. If required, I use testing in private laboratories to support investigations into your health.
Nutritional Therapy consultations will typically cover health goals such as losing weight, improving digestion, increasing energy and healthy pregnancy as well as low mood, skin issues, blood sugar imbalances, autoimmune disorders, cardiovascular and joint health.
Training, qualifications & experience
I completed my training at the Institute of Optimum Nutrition in London.
I am a paid member of the regulating professional body, the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapists (BANT). I am also a member and follow the strict code of conduct, ethics and performance of the Complementary Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
I undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to maintain and update my skills according to the latest scientific research in nutrition. I regularly attend lectures & seminars, as well as reading scientific papers to continually develop my skills and knowledge.
I have years of experience working successfully in all areas of nutrition but especially with with people experiencing gut issues, and stress related conditions as well as supporting couples with pre-pregnancy/pregnancy health.
I am experienced in talking/lecturing to groups of people with an interest in Nutrition. I can tailor content to most topics. Please get in touch if you have a community group or class that would like to have me come and talk.
