I’m Michele and I’m a Registered Nutritional Therapist, Health Coach and Lecturer at the College of Naturopathic Medicine.
I support Immunity, gut and digestion disorders, bloating, reflux, skin and hormonal issues. I work with people who want to feel healthy, energised, lose weight, improve sleep, resolve their stomach issues and feel attractive and confident again.
In these times of self isolation, its easy to become more sedentary and increase our snacking. Making healthy food choices isn't always easy and especially in times of high stress, food can become a crutch. Having tools to help your mental health can help your physical health as well as vice versa.
This is a good time to focus on a chronic health complaint. You have time to food prep, exercise and read around the subject to tackle that health concern once and for all. Whether you are suffering with hormones, stress, autoimmunity or skin issues, one thing clients generally have in common is a degree of gut (stomach) dysfunction and toxicity. Digestion issues are now a common complaint and with around 80% of the immune system located in the gut, it can impact the whole body, causing brain fog, stress, forgetfulness, food cravings, food intolerances, weight gain, aching joints, not to mention loose or irregular bowel movements.
My clients typically report that working with me on their gut problems or detoxification, helps bring their hormones into line, they lose weight, banish the brain fog, get rid of embarrassing bloating, shake off colds and flu quicker, and find more energy than they thought possible.
Very often clients come to me having seen their GP or specialist consultants, having suffered colonoscopies, endoscopies, stool tests, blood tests, to be told everything is ‘normal’, but they still have symptoms. They don’t want to accept a life of medication such as PPIs or restrictive FODMAP diets and want to understand why their body is reacting this way and how they can help themselves to be in their best health before facing a life of pills and side-effects.
If you would like to get to the root cause of your health problems or simply get back to your happy weight, sleep better, manage stress and feel energised, then I can explain the science behind what to eat and how it is impacting your body. With a personalised plan, it works better for you, but I offer the coaching and motivation to stick at it, to get the results you want.
I don’t work with one-off appointments or 6 week check-ups which leave you floundering with your diet, symptoms and motivation in the wilderness. In my experience these therapy models leave clients struggling and they frequently fall of the plan and end up back at square one, only poorer and demotivated. We all have a finite amount of motivation so with health coaching and frequent progress calls I can help you stay on track, work at a realistic pace that suits you, and answer any questions you might have as they come up along the journey.

Training, qualifications & experience
I am a London based Registered Nutritional Therapist & Health Coach with a Functional Medicine approach, graduated from the College of Naturopathic Medicine.
I spent 2 years working at the award winning London Clinic of Nutrition in Marylebone, to hone my therapeutic knowledge and skills.
Now in private practice, I also lecture on the Natural Chef and Vegan Natural Chef courses at the College of Naturopathic Medicine, London.
I regularly attend professional seminars and conferences to keep up to date with the latest scientific research in my field to bring the best evidence based knowledge to my clients.
I work frequently with clients with specific diets such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and diary free.
I am fully insured and registered with the following Regulatory bodies:

My approach is to create a personalised health plan that is specific to you. I do this with a thorough initial consultation lasting 75minutes and you will need to complete a comprehensive questionnaire covering your full medical history, a symptom picture (and we will look at all your body systems) and a food diary. I then look at your lifestyle and put together a programme that’s workable for you and that’s effective.
I like to build a close working relationship with you that’s supportive but also educational so I can pass to you the tools to understand your body.
This is why I don’t work with individual sessions, as it’s very unlikely that health issues can be resolved in 1 session. In order to establish a new eating regime, consider clinical testing and propose suitable supplements we will need to work together over a period of time. The best way to do this is with a programme. This builds commitment from you and will yield better results as we develop our therapeutic relationship. In my experience it is easier for clients to make change when accountable to someone, and with regular support and coaching. Therefore, all my programmes begin with a 12 week structure and include the following elements:
- 75minute initial consultation
- 45 or 50minute follow up meetings by skype or face to face
- Fortnightly or weekly 15 or 30minute progress review calls to keep you on track
- In-depth health and lifestyle assessment to consider diet, symptoms, medical history, family medical history, lifestyle and stress
- Personalised nutrition advice and supplement plan
- Current medication and nutrients interaction evaluation
- Recommendation of clinical testing and interpretation of results
- Meal and recipe support
- Some email support
