About me

Hi, I’m Michaela, I’m a Registered Nutritional Therapist and I help women over 40 who are going through perimenopause to manage their symptoms using the power of food as medicine.

How long has it been since you felt really good?

Do you feel like you are going crazy?

Are you gaining weight that just won't shift now matter how hard you workout or how little you eat?

Do you find the tiniest little thing tips you over the edge, sending you into floods of tears?

The change in hormones during perimenopause can leave you feeling like a complete stranger with symptoms that make day to day life a struggle.

The brain fog, hot flushes, fatigue, mood swings, loss of sex drive, palpitations, aching joints, weight gain, memory loss, urinary tract infections, poor sleep and itchy  skin can make life a misery.

I am here to help.

I can't stop the inevitable decline of hormones that comes with perimenopause but I can help help you optimise the environment they inhabit so that they don't misbehave quite so much.

If you want to feel like you again, book a complimentary 30 minute consultation to find out how I can help you with simple diet and lifestyle guidance that will make you feel like you again: https://p.bttr.to/2XpccSb

WHO DO I HELP?

I help support the following:

  • Perimenopause
  • Hormonal health & fertility support
  • Weight management

HOW DOES IT WORK?

My practice runs entirely online. We start off with a complimentary hormone review  on Zoom. You can book this in via my website or by using the link below:

During this 30 minute call we get to know each other, establish your needs and have the opportunity to see if we are a good fit.

After this first call, I will send you a detailed health questionnaire and a 3 day food diary to complete prior to your initial consultation.

The initial consultation lasts from between 60-90 minutes. In this time we go through your questionnaire in more detail, we will talk about your diet, your lifestyle and what barriers or obstacles might stop you making changes to your diet and lifestyle.

After the session, I will research your case and create a bespoke protocol just for you. This may include testing and supplement recommendations as well as a diet and lifestyle plan. You will receive this within 3 days of your initial consultation.

Following your initial consultation, we then have regular progress review sessions during which we will review how well the protocol is working and I will coach you through any challenges you may be having. Depending on the level of support you require we meet either fortnightly or weekly and these sessions are relaxed, comfortable and non-judgemental.

During our time together we work on diet, lifestyle and mindset and the results can be truly phenomenal.

Don't just survive perimenopause, thrive through it!

MY STORY

In a former life, I worked as a fashion merchandiser in London. It was fun. We worked hard and played harder. Our lifestyle was filled with late boozy nights, long hours in the office and junk food. At the time we didn’t really give a second thought to our health. We were young, fit, healthy and invincible (or so we thought).

I got into nutrition following the birth of my daughter when I found myself really struggling with low energy. The kind of low energy where you can’t get up from the sofa.

Determined that life was too short to waste it feeling like this, I made some changes to my diet and was astounded by the difference it made.

Fast forward to today, now in my late forties, I feel better than ever and I want the same for you too.

My mission is to help you to look and feel the best you can so that you live each day to the full and get the most out of life, so book in now for your free introductory call and let’s get started.
