The York Clinic
296 Tadcaster Road
I'm Marta and I'm a York-based nutritional therapist, practising at The York Clinic as well as my home office in Acomb. I have completed my 3 year course at the prestigious College of Naturopathic Medicine London. Prior to becoming a nutritional therapist I spent 10 years in the dental industry which gave me my first insight into the world of health and the impact of nutrition on our oral health. Food has always been a big part of my life and over the years I started to learn and notice more and more about its impact on the human body. This along with overcoming my own health issues through a change in diet and lifestyle is what pushed me to change careers and pursue my passion for health and wellbeing.
In my spare time you can find me walking my 3 months old dachshund Bodhi, cooking up a storm in the kitchen or going out for a meal with partner or friends.
As a nutritional therapist I have been trained to understand how the food we eat, our environment, genetics and lifestyle factors impact the functions in our body. We are all biochemically different and therefore 'one size does not fit all'. I offer personalised nutrition and lifestyle plans , recipe creation, supplement recommendations and much more to help you feel your best.
For some, eating for both health and pleasure might not seem achievable at the same time. Striking a balance can be very difficult, fraught with complications, and possibly confused by marketing messages from food manufacturers and social media.
My aim is to guide and support clients on their journey towards optimal wellbeing by getting to the root cause of their health issues. We will set realistic achievable goals and give you the tools to help you achieve them. I will provide you with advice, knowledge and techniques that you will be able to implement into your daily life to achieve real results. I don't believe in fad diets and restrictions, it's all about striking a balance.

"I saw Marta last year and she seriously helped with all my problems and got my diet up to scratch. The initial consultation was so thorough, she's like a detective trying to pick up all the clues and find out what will be best for your needs. I can honestly say I feel 100% better since following her advice. Thanks again Marta :))) "
