Marta Uhryn - Hormones Nutritionist

About me

Hi there, I’m Marta and I’m a York-based Nutritional Therapist. My mission is to help you live a happier and healthier life. If you would like to:

  • Improve your digestion
  • Learn how to cope with stress
  • Lose a few pounds
  • Sleep better
  • Balance your hormones
  • Manage a chronic condition

or all of the above, I can help!

As a Nutritional Therapist my aim is to get to the root of your symptoms so you can feel like you again! I see myself as a bit of a detective, I put all the pieces together - your symptoms, your dietary choices, previous medical history, test results, your lifestyle - to truly understand why you feel the way that you do.

My main interest and experience lies in gut health and female hormones but clients come to see me with a variety of health goals. My programmes focus on restoring balance in the body and supporting long term changes to get you back to feeling your best. It’s about making simple, practical changes that become a way of life; with regular sessions, information is fed over time to keep you on track and motivated.

There has never been a better time to focus on your health!
Get in touch now to book your free discovery call with me and find out how I can help you.

Information about health conditions (*)

Nutritional therapy can help enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting nutritional therapy or making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle.

Client Testimonials:

D: I started working with Marta late last year after pushing the idea about for months.... I wish I started sooner!! My irregular bowels was my main reason for seeking help and all my symptoms are now under control after years of issues. It’s an ongoing process but really rewarding knowing that you’re really looking after yourself in a way that’s personal to you and not some one size fits all faddy diet. Marta is warm, friendly and really wants to get to the bottom of everything, she is so thorough and researches everything for you coming up with recommendations and reports to help guide you through what can sometimes feel like a minefield. The best thing I’ve done for myself in a long time.

JT:I’ve been working with Marta for a few months now and the difference in how I feel now is huge! I have so much more energy now, my spots are clearing up and I no longer dread the arrival of my period. No more PMS and being bed bound for the first 2 days. Marta is super professional, warm and really caring. It felt so good to be listened to, understood and supported throughout the whole process. Thank you Marta

I: I saw Marta last year and she seriously helped with all my problems and got my diet up to scratch. The initial consultation was so thorough, she's like a detective trying to pick up all the clues and find out what will be best for your needs. I can honestly say I feel 100% better since following her advice. Thanks again Marta :)))

N: Marta helped me a lot when I saw her in clinic last year. She is a very warm and caring person and thanks to her plan I have never felt better. I now have more energy, feel healthier and my whole family benefited from it too. Thank you Marta!
