About me

I am a fully qualified and registered Nutritional Therapist and Functional Medicine Practitioner specialising in Gut Health.

I came to Nutritional Therapy and Functional Medicine as a result of her own health journey, having suffered with unexplained digestive symptoms for nearly a decade.

Clients come to see me after struggling with their health for a number of years and when conventional medicine fails to assist. As a Nutritional Therapist and Functional Medicine Practitioner I work closely with them to identify imbalances and dysfunctions that underlie or cause specific health symptoms. My starting point is to understand why you are experiencing symptoms and what can be done to modify them.

I believe that understanding the science of what is causing imbalances and dysfunctions is key to making and maintaining dietary and lifestyle changes. Explaining the physiological mechanisms behind your health concern is a vital part of each consultation and I hope to educate and empower you to take control of your health and feel confident with your food and lifestyle choices.

My practice is rooted in evidence-based science and my work is client-centred - from the moment we meet I will listen carefully to your story and work together with you to help you regain control of your health and wellbeing.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a registered and insured Nutritional Therapist and hold a certification from the world-renowned Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) in Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice. I am also a SIBO Doctor approved practitioner and have completed the Monash University 'Low FODMAP Diet for IBS' online training course for health professionals.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Nutritionist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Nutritionist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

I offer online consultations that can be done from the comfort of your own home.
