About me

I am a fully qualified and registered Nutritional Therapist specialised in Gut Health.

Through my own health journey I learnt that our physical and mental wellbeing is intrinsically connected to the health of our gut. Our digestion is our first point of contact with the external world, it protects us from external invaders and it is also where 70% of our immune system resides. Maintaining a healthy gut with the right balance of gut bacteria is vital as when that gets out of balance a multitude of health problems can emerge. Simply put, a healthy gut is the core foundation for a healthy body and mind.

Clients come to see me after struggling with their health for a number of years and when conventional medicine fails to assist. I apply the principles of Functional Medicine and Naturopathic Nutrition in my practice, which aim to identify the core dysfunction and imbalances that underlie or cause a specific health condition. My starting point is why is that happening to you and not only what symptoms you have.

I believe that understanding the science of what is causing imbalances and dysfunctions is key to making and maintaining dietary and lifestyle changes. Explaining the physiological mechanisms behind your health concern is a vital part of each consultation and I hope to educate and empower you to take control of your health and feel confident about your food and lifestyle choices.

Information about health conditions (*)

Nutritional therapy can help enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting nutritional therapy or making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle.

Initial Consultation £150

The initial consultation can take up to 90 minutes. During this time we will dive deep into your current concerns and symptoms and I will provide a detailed and personalised plan to kick start your health transformation including dietary and nutritional advice, lifestyle, supplement and functional testing recommendations.

Follow-up Consultation £75

Follow up consultations typically last around 45 minutes. I recommend you book your follow up consultation 4 weeks after your initial consultation as this will give us time to review your progress and make any necessary amendments as well as adjust for any new concerns that you may wish to discuss.

Packages are available and start from £250.

Express Consultation £100

A one-off 60 minute consultation suited to those who are interested in optimising their wellbeing but do not have a specific health concern to address.

Guided Food Shopping £100

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a nutritionist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the nutritionist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

I offer online consultations that can be done from the comfort of your own home.
