About me

I am a fully qualified and registered Nutritional Therapist and Functional Medicine Practitioner specialising in Gut Health.

Through my own health journey I learnt that our physical and mental wellbeing is intrinsically connected to the health of our gut. Our digestion is our first point of contact with the external world, it protects us from external invaders and it is also where 70% of our immune system resides. Maintaining a healthy gut with the right balance of gut bacteria is vital as when that gets out of balance a multitude of health problems can emerge. Simply put, a healthy gut is the core foundation for a healthy body and mind.

Clients come to see me after struggling with their health for a number of years and when conventional medicine fails to assist. As a Nutritional Therapist and Functional Medicine Practitioner I work closely with my clients to help them achieve their highest expression of health by identifying imbalances and dysfunctions that underlie or cause a specific health condition. My starting point is to understand why you are experiencing symptoms and what can be done to modify them.

I believe that understanding the science of what is causing imbalances and dysfunctions is key to making and maintaining dietary and lifestyle changes. Explaining the physiological mechanisms behind your health concern is a vital part of each consultation and I hope to educate and empower you to take control of your health and feel confident with your food and lifestyle choices.

My practice is client-centred and from the moment we meet I will listen carefully to your story and work together with you to help you regain control of your health and wellbeing. In order to be able to achieve true results, time, dedication, and commitment are needed and for that reason I choose to work with programmes rather than one-off consultations.

Training, qualifications & experience
