Marie Glaeser (mBANT, DET)
Who am I?
I am a nutritional therapist with experience working in Primary Mental Health Care for the NHS. Through my work there I realised that mental and physical health needs to be supported holistically - which is why I now offer a nourishing combination of nutritional therapy, low intensity cognitive behavioural therapy and mindfulness-based therapy in my practice.
I have experience working particularly with mental health difficulties, stress and burn out. These conditions often go hand in hand with poor digestion, chronic pain or fatigue and general ill health. They are also often a result of autoimmune conditions, which I also frequently work with.
How do I work?
I work online only and offer personalised therapy packages to meet your needs. In your first session with me, I will focus on understanding your complete health history and current symptoms. We will also spend time exploring your current situation and any barriers to change.
During your second session, usually about 2 weeks later, I will talk you through how your symptoms may be related to past and current experiences and lifestyle factors. Together we will begin to develop a protocol of nutritional and lifestyle changes that you will implement over a period of a few months for sustainable change.
Follow up sessions will focus on adapting the protocol, helping you implement the changes as well as supporting you through them. I will incorporate my cognitive behavioural therapy and mindfulness-based therapy skills where appropriate.

British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy
The British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy is the professional body for Nutritional Therapists.
There are different BANT membership classes, including Full Member, Fellow Member and Student Member.
All BANT practitioners must have met the required standards of training, be fully insured and adhere to the BANT Code of Ethics and Practice.
If you have been diagnosed or suspect you may have this medical condition, you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies, treatments or making any major changes in your diet or exercise programme.
I offer therapy packages as I know from experience that nutritional and psychological therapy work best when practiced over a period of a few months.
Packages range in price from £250 for 5 sessions, up to £1000 for my 12 session mental wellbeing or living well with autoimmunity packages. Have a look at my website for more information (https://www.efiaskitchen.com/copy-of-about).
I live and work from beautiful Copenhagen, which means I offer online therapy sessions only. I use a video call programme called Zoom, which allows for secure data transfers.
