I'm Lucy, your local experienced Nutritional Therapy practitioner based in Solihull, West Midlands. I have been in clinical practice for 8 years now and so have helped a wealth of different people achieve wellness. I work with commitment, compassion, critical-thinking and conscientiousness. It is not enough to send people away with a list of ideals setting them up to fail, I work with each individual so that they have the targets and information they need to achieve. Therefore it is vital to me that I get to know every patient, not only their health picture; but also their lifestyle, family situation, time restraints and passions in life!
I take consultations in Solihull where I can see people from the surrounding areas including Warwickshire and Birmingham suburbs and also now taking on clients in Leamington Spa. I am also available for home visits and skype consultations depending on your health, preference and availability.
I am a full member of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and the British Association for Applied Nutrition & Nutritional Therapy (BANT). I am committed to keeping up-to-date with the latest health news and research material. For continued professional development I attend seminars, lectures, workshops and subscribe to medical journals to keep abreast of current health news articles.
My philosophy is not about placing limitations and restrictions on people but helping them to listen to their body and to the symptoms it demonstrates to make wiser, more informed decisions about their food intake and health, using nutrient support where necessary to gain equilibrium once again.
I was diagnosed with a serious autoimmune condition and Inflammatory Bowel Disease at the age of 9 years old - a medical rarity at the time. Unfortunately, these types of disease in the very young is no longer very unusual. Therefore, I have been through the spectrum of emotion that comes with a chronic illness. I have been hospitalised, medicalised, traumatised and dis-engaged with my body. This has shaped the way I view my clients. I don't judge or shame.
Please email me for more information.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained at the well-respected College of Naturopathic Medicine in London where I gained a diploma in naturopathic nutrition. I now practise privately in the Midlands areas.
Naturopathic nutrition is a holistic therapy that treats everyone as an individual, taking into account the physical, mental and emotional well-being of the whole person when assessing health problems. It seeks to address biochemical imbalances in the body by creating optimal conditions to enhance the body’s own ability to heal itself through diet, lifestyle and possibly nutritional and/or herbal supplementation.
Your consultation will be treated with the utmost confidentiality, and I am happy to write to a GP or other medical practitioner if you require that service. I am used to analysing blood results, interpreting medical jargon and test results and making referrals back to the medics when the need arises.
If you are already under the care of a physician, I will happily work alongside them to help you achieve wellness through nutrition.
I have experience in private practice, corporate health, clinical nutrition for a professional supplements company, and have also worked for various charities offering my time, experience and support. I am currently working with a chronic fatigue charity offerings workshops and support groups. All of this experience has taught me how to work with people from all different backgrounds and health conditions, and put together a plan for them that will work!
You can find reviews of me on Google Business and my Facebook page too.

The first time we meet, I will need to take a detailed medical history and build a picture of your current state of health to assess your physical, mental and environmental stressors. I will then build a treatment plan for you with appropriate food and lifestyle recommendations, and where necessary I will suggest supplemental nutrition of the highest standard to address any nutritional imbalances. Everything is negotiated between us to fit your lifestyle, ethics and sensitivities. The primary aim of the consultation will be to address any suspected nutritional imbalances and address your presenting symptoms along with building a plan to support long-term sense of wellness.
In preparation for our consultation I will ask you to fill out a 3 day food diary and supply details of all (if any) medications.
6 week personal nutrition package; comprehensive initial consultation, 3 week-by-week updates and week 6 follow-up consultation including full support: £230
Initial & 1 subsequent consultation paid for in advance (to be taken within 3 months of the first consult): £125
