About me
Lucy is a specialist consultant dietitian in gut health and women's health. She has spent a number of years working in world leading NHS teaching hospitals and has now moved over to the private sector in order to dedicate more time and attention to each client.
Lucy has significant experience working with complex functional gut conditions & intolerances, in particular: small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) & intestinal methanogenic overgrowth (IMO). Lucy previously led and developed the hydrogen breath testing service within the largest private hospital group in London. Lucy guided clients through all parts of their journey, from recommending if a breath test would be beneficial, to updating the recommended preparation diet and designing a treatment pathway and protocols for the entire team to follow.
Lucy has gained vast experience across a range of complex gastrointestinal conditions and can help with the following: autoimmune conditions such as: inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), Coeliac disease and hashimotos. Gut related conditions including: Eosinophillic oesophagitis (EoE), gastroparesis, achalasia, bile acid malabsorption (BAM), gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD), pancreatitis, pancreatic exocrine insufficiency, diverticular disease, liver disease and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Women's health including: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, the menopause and peri-menopause.
Lucy now runs her own business in central London (Marylebone) and online: www.lucykerrison.com
