About me

About me

I am a working mother of three. I appreciate and understand that not everyone has got the time, money or patience to cook complex meals daily with ingredients that are hard to get hold of.

I believe in the healing power of food and herbs. I believe in using this to restore quality of life to someone who is not well. I believe in using this preventatively to maintain health and to keep the body working optimally for as long as possible.

All of my recommendations to clients are formed from established evidence based research.  I gained my three year diploma in Nutritional Therapy from the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London where the use of whole, organic foods is emphasised.

How nutrition can help

My mission is to improve health for all my clients whilst motivating and educating about the importance of whole foods and nutrition for lifelong benefits rather than short term change.

What to expect in your first session

An initial consultation will take 90-120 minutes and will involve a lot of questions about previous medical history as well as why you are coming to see me. You may have heard of the term holistic - that means the whole body is intimately interconnected, so its important when looking at any aspect of your health that the whole person is treated rather than just initial symptoms.

Following our initial meeting, you will receive a comprehensive and personalised nutritional health plan with recommendations on what can be improved and achieved together. Reasonable email support is also included should you have any questions or concerns.

You can see me for a one off consultation or, should you chose, a follow up consultation takes approximately 40-60 minutes where we will discuss how you found the plan, if you have had results what wasn't possible and what we can do to improve it together.  This isn't obligatory following an initial consultation but is highly recommended. Reasonable email support is also included should you have any questions or concerns.

All in all, the most effective action I’ve taken through this whole process was to see you and follow your advice.

C.B. (London)
Most importantly, I feel I have changed my mindset about food....Thanks again for your precious help.

B.T. (London)
I was recommended to visit Louise as I suffer from several chronic issues and been unable to work for the last 2 years. I was wanting to make sure I was treating myself in a holistic approach rather than just taking more and more medication. Louise has looked at everything in great detail and has gone above and beyond in her advice to help me examine other avenues to wellness that I haven't discovered myself. Louise has taken on board that I'm not always easily able to cook by providing lots of simple recipes for me to nourish and help heal myself from within.

J.G. (London)
I went to see Louise as I have always struggled with bad skin and at the time my energy levels were low on a daily basis. Louise's advice helped me through a difficult period and gave me the tools that enabled me to improve the quality of my life daily. Louise is caring, professional and our sessions were always informative and tailored to my individual needs. Although Louise is a nutritionist, her approach is holistic and I enjoyed all the other areas of my life she looked at when giving advice - these are the things that have helped make a longer-term difference - thank you!

A.S. (London)
I became a client of Louise's when the skin condition on my arms was at its worst. My GP and dermatologist hadn't been able to help the condition. I also wanted some fertility advice to get my body ready in preparation for pregnancy. With some changes to my diet and adding in some sensible supplements, I could see a big difference in between appointments: my skin condition was pretty much gone and I fell pregnant. I also used her advice for a healthy pregnancy. Very happy!

Training, qualifications & experience

My three year diploma in Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy was gained from the CNM in London (the College of Naturopathic Medicine). This included 200 hours of clinical practice, one of the highest amounts to an accredited diploma. I am also a member of The Association for Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) which is a professional association for Nutritional Therapists, Herbalists and Acupuncturists.

After setting up my own practice in London, I have recently moved to Bristol and ready to start accepting new clients once again.

How to get started: call or email me to set up an initial session and talk through what you would like to get out of a session. During the initial consultation we will go through your medical history and diet which I will base your nutritional health plan on. If you're happy to continue I'll set up a second session six weeks following our initial meeting, so you can implement some of my recommendations. Following this you can see me as and when you feel necessary, though I normally advise leaving at least 3 week between sessions.

£75 One to One Consultation (1.5 - 2 hour initial consultation in person, with full nutritional health plan received with email support)

£45 Follow up Consultation (45-60 minute follow up to initial consultation in person, with revised nutritional health plan relieved with email support)

£150 Nutritional Health Package (1.5 - 2 hour initial consultation in person, plus two follow up appointments with full nutritional health plan received with email support)
